Re to all i'm here again to smash ur tranquillity :p
recently i was trying to obtain a better render quality in max4 ,i was wondering how much direct i have to place to reach a simil reality illumination (GI?) my mind stopped when i reached the 20 or so when the gentle Discreet realease Max5 and let me do GI with just a couple of light , next i found Finalrender , i tryied it and see that this too can so pretty GI ,next again a friend of mine tell me that Brazil render do a Great GI... i was just wondering if somone can explain to me the differencies or positive/negative aspect of theese Renders.... i have a very mess in mind i cant choose one... can someone give me advice please?

once more (maybe we could post a "which renderer I need" sticky thread), it all depends on your special needs ...
To resume, max5 GI capabilities are a bit ..hummm...well, use it to play with spheres, ok ?
Then, you get vray, finalrender, and brazil. Faster raytracer, gi, more functions (true displacement, distributing rendering, etc etc). I think you should look closer to your needs, then go on their respective website ? Also don't forget the future finalRender Stage1 version.

All renderers have their pluses and minuses. You will no doubt get a different response from everybody, people are biased toward the products they own and or use. Which renderer is best? Well, you've (ahem) tried them all, so, whichever 1 gave you the best results while having reasonable render times I would guess is the best. I would say Brazil and Final render are very good because in addition to GI they also have ahost of other features SSS caustics etc, that the max 5 render does not. Stop worrying about which is best, and start learning more about what you have.
