View Full Version : still: (boring3d) Picture of the Day
About a month ago I started putting up a picture of the day on my web site. I have been (so far) putting up a new picture every day. I figured I would post a link here and see what everyone thinks.
Picture of the Day:
You can go to www.boring3d.com (http://www.boring3d.com) to see the title of picture of the day.
This picture should change every day. To see past Pictures of the day you can go to the archive (http://www.boring3d.com/daily_archive.htm).
Hope you enjoy them,

What 3d package are you using?

cless! = local slang (ireland) for - brilliant | cool | fantastico | lovely | nice | excellent | amazing | etc
Thanks for all the positive feed back! I am glad everyone seems to be getting a kick out of it.
I'm using 3DS Max 4.x with Vray. Yup, there's some SSS in a bunch of the images. And yes I live in Maryland. Any reason why you ask?
Shamhead, cless! wow, I think I will have to start using that.

That's cool; I asked about MD because I'm from Annapolis (Severna Park area); I'm just down in Savannah for school. It's not often I find Marylanders around these parts of the web. :)
I lived in Severn(across the road from FT. Mead) for a year or so and worked at Marley Station Mall when I was in school. I also worked at the Ritz Camera on main street Annapolis for about a year around the same time. I don't miss Burnie but I love Maryland and am glad there is enough 3D work to keep me employed at the moment. But it's true there don't seem to be huge numbers of Marylanders around these parts. I think there few though. Greg Hess being the most prominent to come to mind (but I'm not sure if he lives here or just works here).
