Really a waste of bandwidth, so pleeease perform the "save target as" command on the link.
The files are rather big.

The other stuff are a bit smaller.....

Needs Quicktime 7 to work properly as some is coded with the "h.264" codec.

Crazy stuff! Phenomenal quality, I love H.264 for that. And great fun to watch, the dynamics of cloth is really convincing, whoever worked on clothilde really should be up for some sort of award. Great depth of field too, although the autofocus is a bit jarring, it would be nice to have some sort of lag on that. I'm guessing you used Cinema's DoF rather than zBlur? Whatever, it looks spot on. Great texturing too, the metal is lovely... so, in a word - nice!

Rendered in 9.5, by any chance?

Cheers - Chris

WOW! Great stuff

how long does something like that take to render?

Oh man, this is freaking cool!! I love it, I love it, I love it :applause:

Brilliant simple movie with a catching sound track and amazing render quality. Check it out folks, it's worth it.

QT7 will play it also with standard version I think. There's only a problem when you have 6 Pro and install 7 you will loose your Pro-code. Only option is to reinstaal 6 or buy new 7 code. Smart move from Apple. Doesn't seem fair to me...

Thanks for all the replies

yes, how to get the lag on focus?

yes, simple c4d-DOF, so, it is not that accurate...

post ae/fcp etc.

VERY high aa 2 8
yes too long render-times on big OS X NET during summer vacation in Sweden ;-)

no GI. Took way too long! Bet 9.5 will be faster, I love GI.

but optimizing the scene and render-settings would be the best.

Stunning work!! - what method did you use to track the falling metal ..thing with the camera?

All visually beautiful stuff anyway! :D

Tnx!

Olli, now some shots are encoded with mp4, so it should work in quicktime 6....

Well, the piggybank was empty :banghead:

A simple camera rig consisting of some keyed nulls etc. with target (null) tracking.

The problem was to get the target to be in the nearby area of metal tingy, hence the fast auto focus hack. The metal thing itself would not work nice as a target, due to the wobbling movements. Bet some nice expresso would solve that problem.

Looking forward for 9.5
