You guys know what to do....have fun.


We will try to post one of these topics once a day for your enjoyment.

These are the rules:
* Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
* RESOLUTION : The image can have any aspect ratio up to 800 x 600
* They can be done on any medium.
* If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
* Only original compositions. No "tributes" or plagiarizing, unless is it an integral part of the challenge.
* The topics will be posted every day between 10:00 - 12:00 am US EST.
* The artist also has to post total length of time it took (Thanks Clanger for the idea) and program used.
* Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
* Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.
* The topics will be picked at random from the list on this thread
(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming.
*You can add multiple entries, but please dont post WIP (Unless you intend to update them). NEW RULE!
* Ill post ANOTHER thread to quantify and track WHO has participated the most on these threads.

*I know its probably the worse place to ask.. (or not) :argh: .. but anyone can post a link where are the PS CS keyboard shortcuts..?? please..??

but... when I try to open the file with PS it asks for some kind of password and wont open withput it... =\

..i guess thats another problem.. :argh:

not that of an easy task as one might think, nevertheless always funny to go more abstract. I blew it though cause my piece is way too relaxed to be chaotic. snif

30 minutes maybe, I use an old Painter version nowadays, painted in this size.

Chaos reminded me of this situation of coming home to the kids and wife... I'm sure some can relate :)

This PDF is probably just protected from editing, not from reading. Try opening it with Acrobat Reader (free PDF viewer from Adobe - available here (http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html)...)

Figured a melee battle would be rather chaotic, and while I planned on doing the whole thing I stopped after just one Samurai had been drawn. It was taking a while so I figured I'd cut myself off before it got too far! Tried for a Hanafuda style of colouring using red, black, and white.

Open Canvas 15-20 minutes with mouse

Blithe - I'm a pretty big fan of that color scheme also - black, red, and white... decided to go with it.. thanks for reminding me...

99X - I can relate but I must say may job is pretty damned stressful, too... my family can't compare to that stress...

interesting treatments of this theme everyone... great to see your work... good stuff...

Hi everyone! I just got a drawing tablet, so I decided to join in the daily sketch group :)

Photoshop, approx 20 min? (I'm not so good at keeping track when I'm busy drawing...)

supposed to be goddess of chaos or something... i wish I had more time on it. But all i could do is an Hour and ahalf... I have to go get dinner and then on to other things....

Goddess of Chaos.. terribly executed :) lol and dont ask me what she is holding... whatever it is it is very caotic.. bua chaos! I need to figure out how to do shadows in human faces and bodies so they wont look so flat :P
