Hi!

I was wondering if anybody could give me some advise ab out how to lighten en interior scene with no day light with mental ray.
I can make some nice renders with daylight, but the technique is a bit different with artificial lights.
It is an presentation room with only 8 fluorescents at the ceiling. I tried it with an mental ray area light (cilinder), but when you make 8 of them the rendertimes are going to be big. I tried it with only fg, like I do with daylight, but not really satisfiing.
Anybody any good tips?

Tnx!

just a thought... try with fg and put on bulbs something like surface shader, with color that suits the best for you, and increase color V atrribute.
