Working on this interior of a virtual airport. And it need (dont know what to call it) some "Boost", in the materials and lighting. and at the same time be "light" on the rendertimes.
Please give some good directions, on how to get that extra killer look.. :)
Im using currently using 3dsmax 7.5 and Vray.

You could play a bit in compositing package for starters - some color correction (for example, tint the shadows with one color, and highlight s with another), levels adjustment, glow, some grain etc can do wonders. For now it does not look too bad, my main complain would be that it lacks some point of interest.

A few areas to look at would be:-
Framing your images with the camera, your project is all about the buildings interior and currently Im seeing a lot of floor and nothing giving me any drama or interest.
Lighting/Materials:- currently your lighting looks flat add drama by by maybe even adding volumetic light punching through the glass, add some sky outside , Ive not seen a white atmosphere before.Because you have so much glass and sky it needs attention ,even a bit of reflection in the glass would help adding a slight bump as no glass is completly flat. The floor does look un interesting , change the material to something else , normally you would get expensive tiles ,as airports are the gateway to a city and first impressions count! plus then you could add slight reflection, it would all add a sense of activity.
These are just suggestions but your best bet is go for a visit to the local airport or better still get hold a book on norman foster and look at the pictures of stanstead airport, they were taken without any people in the airport ....apart from great photography it will at least give you some reference.
