Color in progress
Hey! I really like your drawings and the idea (friendly demons at last!)! Especially the kneeling demon is VERY cool. Perhaps one point (I hope you don't mind): the background and the foreground don't fit together seamlessly at the moment...perhaps you could bring some of the foreground colours in the background?
But again
10-07-2005, 12:01 PM
Thanks for crit. My drawing is not compact yet, so I work upon it. I thought of addition some bus collision with small explosion(red and orange reflection), but in the course of drawing I have run on new idea:
Collision of city bus with truck, from interior of bus see.
I am not certain if I will use it, but who knows...
(I apologize for my english)
10-09-2005, 10:56 AM
Hi! I like your first idea! In my view the image turned out surrealismy! And it seems to me that the image will be more spectacular if to surround the angel with demons of different sizes. Good luck!
Hey Pawel! I think those explosions would be really good for your picture! It would shurely put foreground and background in a context.
Hmmm...I think I would also prefer Idea No. 1. Though the perspective in No.2 is very interesting (especially with the glasses in the foreground)...
And...I think I forgot last time: Good luck, of course!
10-24-2005, 12:11 PM
Atris: Thanks for the comments. I will think about adding new demons.
Now I would have to add some funny creatures around girl.
DomZ: Hi Dominik! I think my explosion is not enough good yet, but I hope that now it looks better.
And of course good luck for You too :buttrock: .

Michael Chang, LexLe: I'm glad that You like it.:)
11-08-2005, 05:19 AM
Hi! That's looking great! But... Sorry, I didn't understand. Did you decide to change your first idea?
11-08-2005, 09:14 AM
I can’t draw simple line using my mouse:banghead: ( I’m already weary of it:cry: ), so whole architecture in first concept must wait for tablet ( besides, I must change composition and find more impressive point of view - current one does not please me already ).
Meanwhile, I would like to complete though one drawing on „Spectacular” .
It will be „Breakfast at Tiffany” ( Tiffany - the name of my giant alien cannibal )
Tiffany will have problem with fire resistant „sandwich” .
Hope that it will be amusing:) .

Hi Pawel! This your idea is very interesting too! :) It's looking very good! I have only two crits! In my view, you should direct child's eyes to "this Breakfast at Tiffany" (to the small man) :) And I think reflected highlights from fire must be in the eyes of the child. I wish you good luck and every success! :)

I must say, I'm impressed by the variety of compositions you've put up. I was wondering if there is any special significance to the books? I tried looking through the older versions to see if I could catch anything, but I didn't catch anything in particular. In the earlier compositions it seemed like all the creatures were observers in relation to the little girl, but in the newer ones the role has been reveresed and the creatures seem to be centered around the books. Perhaps it is the text which is so catching to the eye, it drew my attention away from the wonderful creatures you have a little too much I thought. Perhaps if you were going to add more text in different places around the little box/room/area/thing it would help spread the focus out a bit. Perhaps the books need their covers to possess the worked feeling that the creatures do to help them tie together. Anyway, I enjoy the rendering style you have, good luck!
Hey man! I see you worked much harder on your piece than I did... Just didn't find enough time since the new semester begun...
I really like your new idea...very strange but very cool! And I even more like your psychedelic colours. You also did a fine job with rendering the shoulder an head of the half-burning demon. All in all: :applause: Good Luck!

Looool - "krwawy robot feluś" - no do lez stary do lez :D
Colours looks amazing and I like how some sufrfaces looks glosy. Kinda chaotic composition thou - hope u gonna clear it up a little ;]

Atris: Thanks for your crits. I havent noticed it before (the childs eye). I will fix it as soon as I can. I will try to make the flames visible on the childs face. All the best, Pavel.
IceKatze: It was really nice to hear that you were impressed. In the matter of the significance of the books... Well, the idea was that my older daughter really often rummages throug my shelves, and when she finall finds my old books and comicses, she cuts the figures out of them. So, these books are the main source of the figures, who are intended to be at last found by her as living ones. And what about the text? Well, I am gonna put some more titles of the books all around, that should really spread the focus. It seems also important, as you pointed out, that the covers have the similar atmosphere, or the mood as the creatures have. Thank you for instructive remarks. Good luck too!
DomZ: I wish you find at last your "five minutes" to realize your plans. All the best! Pavel.
OmeN2501: Thanks for your comments. Composition is not my strongest side. I will do whatever I can to better it up.

you've some cool characters, very nicely rendered,
the composition is a bit cloged up, I think you need more depth to this, like pushing the background further away, cause right now is colosing the pic to much, :)
love the kids face above waching the whole thing :applause:
krwawy Felus ha? niezle

Well, the idea was that my older daughter really often rummages throug my shelves, and when she finall finds my old books and comicses, she cuts the figures out of them and playd with comic heros all the time.
I realy dont know what's happend in her imagination, but she dont allow to throw out even oldest tattered "treasures". Maby this is something, what i cant see, but it's my version of her "Treasure island". I think, that most spectacular events take place in child mind.

Thanks for those kind words.I'm happy that You like it.:)
It's inhumane to scared me like that:twisted: .I wasted 3 hours to make sure
that I finished my work (Thanks Mibus:bowdown: , Your link in FAQ protect me from heart attack).
Anyway thanks for comments and kind words.
Hi man, thanks for posting.
Hehe, z Leczycy! To rzut beretem. Jak bedziesz kiedys na starych smieciach
daj znac, ja stawiam:beer: . Co do zlosliwosci to pozwole sobie nie zgodzic sie z Twoim zdaniem.
To nie jest zlosliwosc tylko zawisc. Kwestia zwyklych kompleksow.
Szydzic (czytaj: cieszyc sie) z porazek innych i chelpic wlasnymi sukcesami,
to chyba nasz narodowy sport. Podejzewam ze nawet dwa pokolenia nie wystarcza do zmiany sposobu postrzegania swiata. Nie mowie zecz jasna o jednostkach, tylko o masach.
Jeszcze raz zycze powodzenia i "stalowych jaj" do walki o "SWOJE".
Thanks for compliments, but I feel a little embarrassed (this is my first steps in cg).
Anyway I thing that everything that happenings is fruit of our imagination.
Best of luck to you all on the finals:buttrock:
