09-07-2005, 09:46 AM
Xillion-------ov thanks, it's really good to win approval from you thanks.
sh@ke------ h ah ah a...no problem bro, thanks for commands....

Nice worm, is that a worm?
Best of luck :D
09-07-2005, 10:34 PM
hımm, actually i didn't think about that, yes they seem like worm i know, but it'd be very cliche
if they are like that. I'm changing my concept so i'm not thinging on it.
But thank you bro...
09-08-2005, 06:03 PM
Nice... umm... thing :) Great sketch already. You probably know this, but a lot of people are gonna be comin' out with monsters bustin' out of the ground, or falling from the sky. I think you''ll be able to hold your ground considering you've already got a pretty awesome sketch here. Keep em' comin'!
09-08-2005, 06:46 PM
That is a very cool sketch. I think it could benefit a bit from having either more tenatcles or having them not all face the viewer from the same angle. They have a sameness to them that detracts from the idea of having it burst forth from underground. Maybe mix it up a bit, make ie appear more chaotic. Just my suggestion, but again, good sketch.
09-08-2005, 09:21 PM
Hey, man... how's my Turkish buddy? Great to see you in another contest! :bounce:
I think that's some amazing creature design, bro. VERY impressive... and HUGE! LOL! Awesome stuff. Give us some more of your artistic goodness!
09-08-2005, 09:31 PM
This looks awesome so far! The scale (so far) seems perftect for the mood! Can't wait to see more!
09-08-2005, 09:40 PM
Good Luck, dude!

Great sketches! The zeppelins look very spectacular!
But that robot sketch is lovely lovely lovely. I especially like the little crowd of robots in the background. How are you gonna portray the 'spectacular' elements of it?
09-14-2005, 05:24 PM

09-16-2005, 06:13 PM
beautiful concepts you´ve got here, dude:thumbsup: The zeppelin and the robots topics are very promising. I personaly very much like the the composition of the robot sketch but the zeppelin theme is probably the spectacular one.
Hi anil6tr. As the other guys. Your concpets are COOL but the ceppelin is more strong as a concept than the others.
Good luck man.
09-18-2005, 03:05 PM

09-19-2005, 03:39 AM
wow... great sketch, and the colors are so cool...
09-19-2005, 04:11 AM
I gotta agree with beelow, the colors are wonderful and contrast nicely. The concept itself is what interests me more though as I think it genuinely intriguing and moving.
Im a technology addict so anything relating to the progressive movement of technological advancements is something I absolutely love. I think your sketch speaks volumes, especially to guys like us who spend their days and nights sketching on a computer with graphic tablets. Think about that for a second. It wasnt that long ago that some of us were still rocking it old school with traditional media. And in a few short years we have been able to create amazing images with software and pen tablets that facilitate and inspire our creativity. And thats just a spec in a vast ocean of whats to come. To see a robot sitting down, reading casually as other robots watch, it is a spectacular image and one that I hope to live long enough to see in real life. Great idea and well executed sketch. This is one image I really look forward to seeing completed:) - J
09-19-2005, 09:37 AM
whee, nice sketch, dude ! :applause:
the idea reminds me of a sketch of Craig Mullins.
composition is very good and overall its a very charming peace.
like in chris cunninghams video for Bjork´s "all is full of love".
the robots are making love in this clip, they´re kissing and fondy.
it´s a totally different view of robotics, which (who) are not cold
emotionless mechanics anymore. they have human senses and feelings
and they feel warm.
keep it going......
09-19-2005, 10:45 AM
I love your latest sketch! Great work.
Looking forward to seeing more!
09-19-2005, 11:24 AM
HAHA! yea my friend! This concept is awesome. Go with this!
Maybe you can make the canvas wider and put more shocked robots around the reading robot. It will make the concept stronger and more spectacular. Awesome again. Keep it up!
09-19-2005, 05:13 PM
sh@ke (sh@ke)-------------- thanks bro i have some problems about the colors i hope to broke this...
mr. thurner---------- thank you bro...
beelow-------------- thanks you too bro...
C cco---------------
Mecha Hate Chimp --First thank you for comments, I'm a technology addict too, but mine is a litte more about philosophy and relationship between art and science. This is an other side of the naturel consciousness .My all challenges around this concept, i believe this subject. Thank you for your dear comments.
comaone------------yes bro, this examples always effected us ...thank you..
artjunkie------------yes this is my bro. thanks. seeing your message is really nice.
Atmospheria---------Hi my bro, you are right that upgrates make it better absolutely. thanks so much...
i liked your first skecth on the reading robot better ... the composition worked better there for me. also the poses of reader and the other robots were far better imho :)
09-21-2005, 04:12 PM
this is a quick sketch about worker robotics.
09-21-2005, 04:22 PM
There is an other quick sketch about some worker robotics arround spectacularone...
So you want to make a Robot family. your sketches are great. Congrats.....
09-22-2005, 01:17 PM
I widened the image through horizontal. So i can show much more elements and characters about idea.
My next step will be, making much more character and attracting attentions to the reader robot.
And making some color variations...
09-22-2005, 07:52 PM
kullandigin renkler cok hos...
09-24-2005, 09:15 PM
nice concept, love the colors, that contrast... keep up the good work and good luck!
09-25-2005, 02:22 PM
nice pic ,good luck !:)
09-26-2005, 10:05 PM
I'm detailing the enviroment and thinging on the concept.
Robotic is reading a book whichs name is simulacres and simulation, was written by Jean Baudrillard.
I'll explain longly that what i mean later.Thank you.
09-26-2005, 11:38 PM
Nice sense of lighting. Might need a few deeper darks. Maybe you could try the "burn the edges" trick (airbrush some dark colours into the borders) to bring out the glow of the image.
Colors look great! That sketch of the work robot has got so much character! Great style here.. Keep going
09-27-2005, 10:47 AM
I really like the moods in your concepts...your latest is marvelous :applause:
cant wait for more
I like how you use the contrasting colors to give it a sense of depth. (Although usually it's the cooler colors that make things look more "distant.")
I think some more attention to the details on the blue side will really help this image. Keep up the good work.
09-28-2005, 10:33 PM
hey men, you understand the real concept of spectacular, a real moment that change many things, i love it, a robot that has learned how to read, and is been spected by the others cuyriously... great concept., the only thing, i believe you could centralize the importance more in your character and leave the enviroment less detailed, keep going,
and man...sorry my english im hispanoparlante.
09-29-2005, 09:58 PM
I widened the image again. And add some detail, put bigger robots...
Robtic had to be bigger because of their position, they're origin of the concept and there was a balance between robotics and factory which wasn't correct. So i replaced it again.
09-30-2005, 08:27 AM
hi bro......i like your consept so much.....yuru beee............
10-01-2005, 04:18 PM
Hi*again!my ~ally:) .are you okey!
”Concept Sketch: suddenly... ” is my favorite,is very attractive (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=attractive)* in my opinion!
“ Concept Sketch: robotic” is looking wonderful.it is true.this has to be accepted.
***In the end …COLORs… **seems very good..nice and ingenious (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=ingenious) contrast.
I like your idea.it goes ~well
But you are working too slowww…eheheh:scream:

10-10-2005, 09:00 AM
Hi! You are proficient in the use of lighting! Very interesting coloring! Bravo! Good luck!
10-12-2005, 07:25 PM
thank you atris.
I have to build so much element and lighting games to enviroment,
10-14-2005, 03:36 AM
eheheh i just love the expression on the robots that are trying to look at the book! XD its amusing!
Oh looking good, the picture that is
yeah liking your bots and the lighing fits well.
One little thing....take it as a grain of salt,
Its a Visual thing. The robot behind the reader looks too aligned with him.Mabe its just that his torso is the similar thickness as the head of the book reader.
do you know what I mean?
Im sure its early days and will blend in fine :D
10-18-2005, 12:00 PM
coming along nicely....very talented you are
10-18-2005, 01:49 PM

Very stylish. Good use of colours. Keep up the good work.
10-27-2005, 03:53 PM
I'm working on this character.Started to detailing.
10-27-2005, 04:58 PM
Detailed one.i'm working on it.it has to show itself because of it's the most important one.
there is some pespective problems i have to make something about it.
10-27-2005, 07:14 PM
I am fascinated of your idea for reading robots . Its nice :). Keep working. Wish you the best:)
hmm this seems interesting ... i dont really know where you are going with this but i hope to see more updates soon :D
10-29-2005, 11:37 AM
Paounka----thanks, i said before i'm detailing the composition.thank you again...
Slav--------thanks you too, i wrote my concept if you would like to see, u can read at first pages. thank u again...
10-29-2005, 01:48 PM
some qiuck sketch about robotics.
10-31-2005, 10:14 PM
i'm detailing the factory enviroment.
11-02-2005, 01:38 AM
Woow! I really like the mood of your work. I feel well the depth of the environment. Keep up with your good work.
11-04-2005, 10:55 AM
i'm working on details and atmosphere about enviroment.
11-04-2005, 11:31 AM
Great work! I love tho colors, and the idea, only crit is the nose of the robot on the last update, its a bit too human, but the other thing are greeat, keep up the nice work ;)
11-05-2005, 10:40 AM
 This has really come a long way since last looking at your thread (I've been away for a couple of weeks at least) and it was looking good then.
The colour and mood is really spectacular and I look forward to the next update.
Keep up the great work
11-05-2005, 10:05 PM
Dude, this is sweet! I seriously amazed with the colors and nice little touches. Looking forward to see more !
11-09-2005, 10:29 PM
thank you darksun...
i'll be back...
11-11-2005, 02:37 PM
Some color tryings about enviroment...
11-12-2005, 04:01 PM
I'm adding some detail to background like big machines.
That part has to push the our clever robots and its bros....he he
So the colors wich constitute the enviroment mustn't be too contrast.
There is two strong light spring, one of theme is cold and the other is so hot, so the i can use this contrast on my front scene....
11-12-2005, 11:09 PM
Full composition with some details...
And there is so much things to do, like rihgt side coloring of the composition and details.
11-13-2005, 10:13 PM
enviroment details and the new big machines. The robots which is in that area, has to be in a dense atmosphere so they seem more orange color. And somewhere on theme is blue light which came to the top rihgt side windows...
11-18-2005, 05:22 AM
Wow... I hadnt seen your pic since the first version you made of the robot sitting down in the orange/blue sketch. What youve done up to this point is really impressive. Your last sketch could be an illustration on its own... its so rich in detail. BTW, nice touch on that cool colored light hitting the edge of that round robot walker. Its a great way to transition the light.
Anyway, your work is great and I cant wait to see the finished piece. Good luck and thanks for your comments! - J
11-19-2005, 10:27 AM
thanks my dear bro...
there has to be some detail and final enviroment atmosphere so i have to be faster.
thanks again for your dear coments...
11-19-2005, 10:29 AM
I like perspective and depth of wiew very much, color atmosphere is really great.
11-19-2005, 02:22 PM
Pretty nice piece, I like that the robot is reading to his companions, good luck with this, holla!
11-21-2005, 11:11 AM
11-27-2005, 10:06 AM
Detailing the enviroment and bionics...
11-27-2005, 03:33 PM
. i've little time* to say_ just A few WORDS!:)
. please! * hurry up!!! *
. it goes on -= ExtraOrdinarily =-
. lastly : .. the one that read book looks .: very Attractive :.:bounce:
11-27-2005, 07:34 PM
thank you my bro...
11-28-2005, 02:58 AM
the learning robot is a good idea and a nice scene. ;)
11-28-2005, 09:53 AM
i'm detailing the bionics at the behind of the scene.
11-28-2005, 01:20 PM
detailing the behind bionics...
11-28-2005, 04:21 PM
The book whichs name is Simulacres et Simulation, had to detailied. This point is really important because it's the hot point in the cold blues...It'll help us later, hot in cold, cold in hot.....this is the balance.
11-28-2005, 04:59 PM
excellent image, very thought provoking, I like the idea of the foundry as I used to
work in a bronze foundry, I can relate to their situation, and what hot is, you could have
steam or moisture in the cold part, look forward to the finished art.
11-28-2005, 09:05 PM
i'm detailing the enviroment and bionics.I'll think arround your succes...
11-29-2005, 11:25 AM
I'm still detailing the bionics...
11-29-2005, 12:14 PM
Goodluck Anil
11-29-2005, 02:55 PM
This is the general enviroment and robotics.I added some glow to the bionics which behind the big windows, and erased some of theme may be i can add much more bionics later. There has to be a color mix between cold and hot colors. For example the book is in a deep blue because of the position in the concept. It must show itself truely.
And I collapsed to the composition and centered the our reader bionics, It has to be origin...
11-29-2005, 03:03 PM
great work Anil
the blue red contrast look perfect
11-29-2005, 08:04 PM
thank you chrom.
11-29-2005, 08:16 PM
Great atmosphere, concept and colours :bounce:
It looks amazing !
11-29-2005, 08:52 PM
Yes yes! my Blade runner-th over!
11-30-2005, 11:36 AM
11-30-2005, 03:14 PM
Hey, Anil, I can't believe I've never dropped in and posted on your thread yet. Just want to say I really like how it's been coming along, and it looks really good. Really like those strong contrasting hues and values you're using too. Nice work.
11-30-2005, 06:47 PM
I love the image and concept - the only critique I have is that the change from blue to red color scheme is a little too harsh or abrupt. I realize that it is meant to emphasize the contrast between the working environment and the robot's curious deviation, but they look a little too much like separate images.
Anyhow, I really like the composition and styling of the robots. Keep up the great work!
11-30-2005, 09:54 PM
thank you for your dear comments and suggestions walrus and EricClaeys bros...
12-01-2005, 02:07 AM
like i mentioned earlier,u have great application and very well incorperate of cool and warm contrast.dig the robot gestures too!man i wish u luck upon finishing the challenge.
12-01-2005, 04:39 AM
I wish I knew what book it is that they're reading. It seems like such an out of place thing that a robot should be reading a book, but I know that if I knew which book it was, it would ruin the mystery of the piece. I love how the robots seem to have facial expressions and I'm looking forward to seeing more of them in the background. Are you attempting to hide the lines in the background machinery, or are you leaving it there on purpose?
12-01-2005, 10:50 AM
Very impressive work. Interesting colors, great idea. I like your style very much. Good luck!
12-01-2005, 12:10 PM
There is despersal of the stain schematic. This is a croveded enviroment and whereupon i have to do something about bringing the concept which built on the book in the foreground.
In this situation approximately there created a ying yang form by itself.
The orange and the other hot colors will be in the cold colors so we'll attract attention to the book reader.
And i'll add there much more curious robotic.
12-01-2005, 04:26 PM
sh@ke ------------ thank you bro. your things are well come...
IceKatze----------- The book name which reading by the robot is "simulacres et simulation".
This is an important theory of our age. Shortly this is about intransitive image. This theory has approach by Jean Baudrillard to the media and destroyed things by it, like culture and lost traditions.I protest against this situation withthis concept.Dear Baudrillard....
And the lines on the machines will be disappear.
weedlog-----------thank you my dear bro...
12-01-2005, 08:11 PM
I'm adding much more work robot.this will kill me i know but it has to be..
So telling the concept will be better i thing...
12-01-2005, 09:01 PM
"Just right" is never enough huh? :) Great piece you got here. The mood's calm but yet the subject matter's screamin' it's heart out. Check you out when you're done ~peace.
12-01-2005, 11:50 PM
Your entry is looking AMAZING! Sorry I've been out of touch, bro. Thanks for your email, I'll reply soon. Oh, and I did resume work on my entry (not sure if I'll finish, however).
Keep up the amazing work my friend! Go, go go!!
12-02-2005, 07:38 AM
ahbeejieh----------thank you bro.i'll thing about your dear comments.
artjunkie-----------hi my dear bro, thank you so much...lets hurry ha?!:scream:
12-02-2005, 06:42 PM
I'm working on making the other robots and detailing the other elements...
12-05-2005, 12:02 PM
i changed the lighting on the enviroment a bit.the older one was darken so the characters couldn't seem so much.
now i thing it's better...
12-05-2005, 04:47 PM
i'm detailing the characters...
I hope you finish, 'casuse I want it as my desktop :P. Good luck.
12-05-2005, 11:51 PM
this is the lineart of concept ok...;)
12-06-2005, 08:59 AM
thank you my bro...
12-06-2005, 09:03 AM
there is three part of the image which devide the composition big, middle and small parts. the biggest one is the center of the concept and the middle one is helping background lighting. And the small one is the empty and darkest place for the giving deepness fells.
The other picture is about my concepts perspective composition. the middle of composition is fire at the far away.
12-06-2005, 10:01 AM
Good luck! ...and Merry Christmas!
12-06-2005, 02:18 PM
adding some details...
12-06-2005, 03:21 PM
thank you Radu Bogdan Boeru bro....
12-06-2005, 07:47 PM
There is a factory which has the worker robotics. They only can do what they has to do. They can't think, they can't have any idea about anything, only work...
One day something has happened, one of theme making something without routine works. One of the worker robot was making something but non of theme could know what was it doing.
Big part of theme which saw there had been something abnormal, came around it. They hadn't any idea about what was happening there, it coulnd't be already!
In spite of, they couldn't anything without work, one of theme learned reading book. It was only read the book which name was simulacres et simulation.
Nobody know that how this situation had happened, but it needed learn about its real.
All the other robots was confused about that situation. They had never saw something like that and this is the most interesting time about their age.
Again, life could find a way to think...

Cool idea and i love the colours and the poses of the robots. His 'confident' reading pose works really nicely against the upright and static poses of the other robots.
The glowing box does a great job of directing the veiwer too and gives some lovely lighting effects. And i love the page of close ups... almost works a s a comic strip!
Thanks for the descriptions of your composition and process... really interesting stuff.
Good luck in the judging!

Anil! I finally got around to responding to everyone elses thread today. Congrats on finishing the challenge... I know that you know this is one of my favorite pieces as well... it came out beautiful!
I think what got me the most is the inquisitive look on the other robot's faces. You really captured the essence within this critical moment. I also like how your worked the cool colors into the warm, specifically the lighting underneath the book that breaks up the transition nicely. Nice touch.
Again, absolutely beautiful work. One of my favorite pieces in the challenge. Good luck my friend! :applause: - J
