Latest Update: Final Image: Harmonic Dance

I plan to create fantasy visual representation of musical expression. The first concept shows the surreal imagery of girl playing magical harp. Her intense playing conjures the spirits of nature, taking form by wind, sand and water, as they intertwine in lovely dance. With animals, critters and fairies gathering around, dancing to her enchanted melody.

I've changed the girl's hair to undulate with the wind. Also added details and color tinting to the base sketch.

I've composited the foregound and background elements to get a sense of overal color and contrast. Added textures to the tree trunks and twigs.

In the enchanted land of Dreamscopia, where imagination and magic forms the reality,
Melidia, a practicing musician, found a withered tree trunk by the lake that resembles the shape of a harp. As soon as she imagined playing it, threads of white strings grows between the hollows stems.
Curious, she plucked the low note on the long strings. The tree suddently comes to life, sang a deep, resonating base note.
Amused, she plucked a high note. A Shape of goddess emerges as carvings on the harp and sang a crisp soprano.
Amazed and delighted, she started to compose a love song.
As she fervently plucking away, the surrounding environment responds to her every thoughts, and emotions. Tree sways and shakes to her musical rhythm. Waters from the lake churned and sprang into a lady in her image. Her man of desire materialized from the twigs and leaves blown by the whirl wind. Embracing and intertwine in a lovely dance.
