hi all, I am not sure if this board welcomes beginner or not, but I really would like to hear some comments from experts in CGT community. The model is far from complete yet, however, any feedback will be appreciated. thanks in advance!!
This time the head was starting out from a single cube. I was trying to experiment different approches to model a human head. and It was hard... I nearly gave up when struggling with her eyes and eye lids. I am still not very satisify, but I have no idea how to imporve the look of the eyes :P
She was design to be an Oriental, do you think I reach the goal in this aspect? thanks

I think your model is beautiful. The textures are great. The ears are way too harsh. Relax those puppies and give her some soft earlobes; there is one edge on the earlobe in particular that really sticks out. If you asked me her nationality, I probably wouldn't say asian and yet I think the hair, body type and clothing you give her could change that entirely. Great job so far, Shimotsuki.

The models are great indeed :) Some more detail on the textures, and they'll be perfect :D

wow, thanks for the reply! I strongly agree the ear doesn't look quite so well, however, it didn't seem so obvious before you guys mentioned it. I guess I really need a good study on human anatomy :)

I am calling myself a beginner because I don't have the ability to controll the outcome of the model. I was very furstrate during the modeling process. for many times, I had to start all over again just because a certain solution fail to work. I guess this is what it takes to become a pro :)
