Hi everyone!

This is the story of two humanoid species living on an earth-like planet : the first ones are the Mogdaliis, grey/blue skinned humanoids living in cities they build up high in the trees. They live in jungles, and their technology is wood and fire based. The other species, the Pouets, are bug-like, and their behaviour is really ressources consuming. So they have to travel to new territory once they've depleted the available ressources.
And so the final picture will show the Pouets attacking one of the Mogdaliis tree city.

As for now, the picture I submitted shows a typical Mogdaliis male.

The main idea of my project was people who have been living in trees for generations. Following the Idea that the species evolution is adapted to their environment, Mogdaliis have inherited some features in their anatomy.
They have to use their hand to climb all day long. So they becomed stronger and tougher. Their forearm devollopped in order to cope with the need of grip.
Because of they need a lot af agility, they are small and thin. They can live about 50 years.
They live in peace and in harmony with nature.

Very nice and well-thouht design. Everything works for me in your character. Just wonder how'll it look in 3D. And if you intend to keep the "funny face"-look it has right now... It could decrease the serious look of the scene. But well, that's just a concept sketch. Looking forward to see your second species.

All Right. Here is the modeling of a typical Mogdaliis male.
Unlike my original sketch, I have changed the way of his foots in order to improove my character's look.
Any crits are welcome.

That's some nice modeling you've done here. I really like the forearms, you've kept them huge, but you decreased the size of the wrist, compared to the sketch. I think you should rework this area a bit, so that the transition between the arm and the hand isn't that obvious.
Everything else works fine (especially his "hair"), apart from the feet. I have to be honest, I don't like those cat-like feet you've done. Plus, it seems that on your sketch, the feet were previously thought with long and articulated fingers, which would fit the character better : he lives in trees, and so need to travel from branches to branches, needing his hands to be free from times to times in order to get fruits or other things that are in the trees. The feet he has right now seem to be made for an animal that would live on the floor, needing to run fast or things like that. I really think that you should rework them a bit, so that they become coherent to the rest of the body.
I might look like I'm pikcing on little things up, but as you've said they evolved to fit in their environment, those feet seem to be out of place for me.

Well, those were my 2cts, hope it helps. Keep us updated with your work.
