CGTalk - Problem with Brazil and Max5 + Area Shadows

View Full Version : Problem with Brazil and Max5 + Area Shadows

My scene keeps crashing halfway through rendering.
I use brazil to render and a single spotlight set to areashadows.
Using Raytraced shadows or shadowmaps is no problem..
Any one got a clue?

use Brazil Area Light instead of max area shadow.

turn off supersampling in the shadow parameters...

and if you have brazil 1.0 , use the brazil light instead

what i would avice you is use the brazil lights plus ahve a look at the global illumination samples or the sample rates if its to high the brazil crashes. or try gettting the tutorials in brazil1.0.3version
