Hi everyone ! Its now the time for me to give you the story of my "spectacular":)

The Crazy Truck

Then we are in 2045.
Cities became a special world populated with half flying cars.
It works thanks to a revolutionary system invented about years earlier.
But in a flying main avenue of Paris arrives a drama...
A band of crazy young people, fanatical about jacky cars of past and of the tunning, decided to customize one 38 tons running to the gazoil, the fuel forbids for years for its menace and its exuberant price.
This crazy truck thus ventures on the fact what became the highway of future, and the flying cars try to avoid it...

Wow, that's bizarre, I wrote a huge story about aliens and stuff when I was a kid, it was in 2045 and the expensive new cars used to fly (maglev), the rest were electric or hidrogen propulsed...

Good Luck!

Good story miss... to start... you have 2 solutions...

- start by the less important things in the scene, why ? -> to take time to have your cruise work on this challengen abd finishing with the most important part of your picture, to give it the best of you.

or

- start by the subject (the truck), that give you the opportunity to don't do the other parts if you don't have enough time to finish all before the deadline.

Sincerly, I prefer (for me) the first solution, better for the quality, but you must be sure to don't lose so much time on these secondary details. It's a choice, and you must think to a precise planning, and for sure, to follow it

Cool looking concept. May I suggest a view. Perhaps the truck would tilt a little (the tire off the ground a bit) so we see how dynamic the scene is. But great sketch you have there. Hope to see more soon :)

Yessss, but its a jacky truck, It inherits concepts of the tunning, thus the big rims are necessary :D

I was almost sure that you were going to say this, but I wanted to have the confirmation :) I think that Im going to follow your usual walking which is to model the decoration, to be then able to attack cars and crazy truck !!

Thank you still, for quite your all advices :)

hehe, nice idea. Good luck on the challenge

Thanks :)

Nice sketch. The cars are cool and the colors work well. However, I must be honest, nothing in the picture is "blowing my mind" in terms of being spectacular. Maybe you could have a big collision amongst the flying cars?

You know I dont too much like making as everybody. Thus for the explosion not. I like to be moved :) furthermore its necessary to try to put itself in the context. We are more in 2005 but in 2045... ;)

I think the difficult part of the challenge is that it's a very "personal" idea that one has to put on the image. What may be spectacular for you may not be spectacular for the rest of the members... In the end it's all a matter of taste :bounce:

Yor style is very french, you know. I like it.

I don't know if somebody already mentioned it, but the top round part of the building architecture has too much coreners. I mean I can see the poligons.

And one more thing. As I understood, All your story stuff hapens in the future. So (I guess) it would be nice idea to put some futuristic elements in architecture. Also, if you'll decide to do so, you could make these elemets too look in old style. Well, I mean you could use a retro-future style for whole image.

Good luck.

The low parts of pillars are better now, really...

and now, it's more easy to appreciate the texturing without orange lighting.

About these textures... and also about the top, that appear too much marroon and grany... surfaces of these buildings is generally very smooth... and for sure maybe to be darker and obscured by the air pollution, the remainders of the use of the past cars

In any case, you've done an incredible work here... keep your hand on :scream:

Je confirme !!! :scream: (sigh)
I agree with gpepper, vehicles are difficult to model, even more when it's not your cup of tea (like for me).
Textures of your building are nice, but it looks weird to me, because in my city, Haussmannian buildings are in dark grey. If only they had this nice color...

You'll need some courage to achieve it..but go on!:bounce:

Mais je pense que ca peut changer avec l'éclairage de la scene en fonction des autres éléments.

But I guess it could be different with the lightning set with all others items in the scene.

I like this more clear color, but probably you have to dust up a little bit some area under the balcony and between some 'decors' area. Looks very good.

I jut think to that Nemirc... it's maybe due to the floor illumination as a FG... and for sure, near pieces seem to be colored as the ground, in maroon... maybe that

aah cool very cool ! this is a good job. One thing eventually : the texture for the 2 part of the building (windows 3 and 4) looks a little bit flat to me. But it will maybe resolve with the general lightning of your scene.
