Where's Waldo ? :D

Awesome job here:bounce: , the croud is outstanding and fit soo well with the environment...
:applause: :applause: :applause: nothing to add...

10-08-2005, 06:16 PM
Congrats, i liked so much. Great stuff here. I'm impatient to see more :bounce:

10-08-2005, 06:28 PM
This looks very Victorian... Love the style! Keep up the good work. :thumbsup:

10-08-2005, 07:16 PM
Vampeta!!! WOW!!! You blow my mind with this crowd! Awesome work. The only thing that I think this lacks is beverage and peanuts/popcorn vendors walking up the stairs yelling and waving things. That would be the icing on the cake in my opinion. Great job man!

10-08-2005, 07:51 PM
Wow, and wow... and wow...

I can't wait to see this all come together mate:buttrock: Your approach to the core of the crowd scene is great... I think it will really benefit from a 'chaos and clutter' pass though... to mess and randomise them a bit further...

Good luck!

10-09-2005, 04:44 AM
1,2,3,........ still counting :bounce:

10-09-2005, 07:41 AM
Fanstastic mate... you've just win a part of your personal challenge... 2000 is yet a good number... very symbolic for your great realization... very good result... a real magical step for your project... keep it up Alex :bounce:

10-09-2005, 08:56 AM
lots of people...
Clean cool work Alex ! :thumbsup:

10-09-2005, 10:37 AM
Interesting mixture of styles. Your concept looks quite futuristic overall but the crowd has an old fashion look going on. Look great so far. The only thing I would suggest is if you could mix the color up a bit more on the crowds clothing. For instance make some of the guys in gray different colors. It would make it look way more random and natural.

I looked at it more closely and I can see that you do have different combinations of color at least for the suit guys - some have white shirts some have red shirts or lighter or darker suits. But I'm still seeing non random clumps of models with the same texture combinations. It looks like you might be trying to limit your color pallete for artistic reasons, but to really make the crowd look random with the same hand full of models I think you would have to bring in more colors. I have no idea how clear you are going to be depicting the crowd in the final image, so it may not matter of course.

10-09-2005, 10:45 AM
Looks great, Alex!

As pointed out, you'll need to introduce more variation when it comes to the colour of their clothes, but aside from that minor point, it looks really convincing.

10-09-2005, 03:46 PM
@aaron111 & JamesMK :: Thanks a lot! i agree with you also. The colors are indeed choosen to create a very french like look to the final picture. But in any case this was just a test to see how it works... now i can beginn with the finetuning ;) Thanks Friends!

@gpepper :: they are growing by the minute :curious::hmm: ...
UAAAaaaaaaaarg help!... they are taking over my computer :scream::argh:

@Lemog :: Thanks Friend! indeed it was the part of the image that i was most afraid of... because if i worked just with billbord-textures they would properbly not look the desired way :/

@the best :: let me help you... 1998, 1999, 2000! ;)

@DaddyMack :: Thanks Friend!

@gardogg :: Ideed great idea with the popcorn vendors!! Thanks 4 your great feedback!

@Shortricci :: Thanks!

@denverbz :: Also thanks! p.s: stay tuned! ;)

@Zapan :: Wuff wuff... foun him ;) hahaha ... thanks friend!

@nemirc :: Me too ;)

@Necksmasher :: Thansk! you are right with the guy in the gray suite. This was yust a test and they will be some more color variations in the final! Thanks 4 your great feedback!

@coCoKNIght :: Thanks

Chers :beer: Alex

Hi folks,
welcome to my latest conzept changes...

lighting is now a bit more "sepea" style.
i have also changed the Image format to letter-style ( i have alredy enough images in landscape format ;) hahaha and i think it looks a bit more dynamic :)

The cars, trees, and some of the buildings are just dummies and will be replaced with highres versions.

And......yes! Thats the way how Mr. Bronson Coppermine will look like in the end ;)hahaha

Hope you like it!
Cheers Alex

10-09-2005, 04:28 PM
no comments, no crits, i'm not have words :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: Very gooooooood!!!

Say hi to the Bronson family :scream:
Cheers Alex :beer:

Oh and btw thx heavens for incredibly nice post on my undead thread . :)

10-09-2005, 04:54 PM
Hi Alexander,

I really love the work you're displaying here, I think it's one of the top notch threads here in the Spectacular Challenge.
I'd suggest altering your current composition a bit though. In the original concept, the 'car' positioning was a bit more dynamic. Now the car is coming straight at the camera and is almost fully framed, in the previous one it buzzes past the cam. I personally like the original concept better when it comes to the cars.

Keep up the great work!

10-09-2005, 04:56 PM
Yap, that is truly spectacular pic. not sure about originality of idea, but still... COOL!:thumbsup:

10-09-2005, 05:57 PM
mouahahah !

10-09-2005, 06:49 PM
Nice work and the last layout looks excellent.Another great piece is made here.
Keep up the good work.:thumbsup:

10-09-2005, 10:56 PM
yess Alex thats really it! like the sepea lighting style there!:thumbsup: hmmm but the front racer kinds distracts me from the back explosion ! but still looking superb!
cheers mate!

10-10-2005, 05:42 AM
And now, for sure, this project comes really spectacular... I'm just crying... :cry: very good idea, very good subject, very good composition, very good modeling, very good texturing and so.... just the good recipe for victory :thumbsup: congratulations Alex... :arteest:

10-10-2005, 04:29 PM

10-12-2005, 10:21 PM

Looking very nice... Maybe you have already expressed how this will occur but in what way will you help express the motion occuring in this image. Are you going to use some kind of motion blur? The reason I ask is the racer in the forground is very static... Other than that you are doing great!

so... modeling on the engine is finished.

Im not sure if anywone will see this engine ever in the final image... but i will try to make this racer as realistic as possible... although this kind of engine will properbly not make any sense :) hahaha

Its all science fiction ;)

10-22-2005, 11:48 AM
Science fiction or not - still a very cool looking engine!

Hahahahaha... very good design for this engine... I love that... :thumbsup: you know, it's not really important if it will not visible in the final pic... now, we know it exist... we saw it... it's the most important, not ? you have fun do create that, and we have fun to discover it... it's good for me :applause:

10-24-2005, 03:41 AM
wow amazing work:twisted:

10-24-2005, 07:06 AM

Plus the design is soooo cool :applause:

MAESTRO !!:bowdown:

10-24-2005, 07:54 AM
Wow, Alexander, this is one actonishingly visually strong vechile! It looks absolutely capable of reaching insane speeds, and looks in the same time futuristic and yet gaining retro look and feeling of mille miglia cars from 1930's (which are absolutely fascinating)... Great work, makes us speed fanatics happy just to look at it!:) Furthermore, correct me if I,m mistaken, white is traditional german racing colour, and it perfectly fits this baby...
Cheers! :beer: Ivan

10-24-2005, 08:27 AM
really love your render quality and details level on the visible part of the engine. :eek:

10-24-2005, 08:48 AM

Very cool car! No crits...

10-24-2005, 03:16 PM
That's a very impressive looking machine. Like the idea allot. Always is a pleasure to visit this post.

10-24-2005, 03:24 PM
i was just wondering why would somebody spend time on something that will be out of sight instead of perfecting whats visible... the engine for instance

10-25-2005, 07:10 AM
@perko :: Hi Perko, thats very easy to say... if you like your work like the most of the people in here then you have no problem to spend some time on soemthing that would propebly no one will ever see... otherwise.... if i ever would like to do an animation with my racer i dont have to send some time on modeling again (you know the hidden parts ;)

@fgcity :: Thanks

@gardogg :: Dito

@theuni :: Hi Friend, i read your privat message :) sorry im a bit under horrible time stress at the moment... but i will find some time... (promised ;) Thanks 4 feedback Friend!

10-25-2005, 09:20 AM

Yep.. i found some time to put some textures on the vehicle from Mr. Copermine :)

Ha.. im curious if you find out what the Nr. 3 means ;) :))

See ya

10-27-2005, 03:50 AM
wo w alexander you kiled me this morning with you texture ....weldone boy:bounce:

10-27-2005, 04:26 AM
Good work on textures Alex... a little bit too satined for the moment... but you will fixe that soon I'm sure... :thumbsup:

10-27-2005, 07:25 AM
Ha.. im curious if you find out what the Nr. 3 means ;) :))

hmmmm... let me think...

3rd ship you have made ?...
3rd one who finished the race ?...
3rd Bronson of your Bronson family ?...
3 is always better than 1 ?...
Snow white and the 3 dwarfs ?...
3 beers remaining before getting drunk ?...
Ok I give up :shrug:

Awesome texture Alex, and great fire effects :eek: :thumbsup:

10-27-2005, 07:30 AM
3 beers for me :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

10-27-2005, 07:35 AM
Nice texturing work dude.Your scene is going to look great.

10-27-2005, 09:23 AM
@visualact.com :: :D i hope not! :scream:

@Zapan :: Thats pretty close :DHahaha ... how about my third Challenge ;) but snow white and the 3 dwarfs was also correct!

@Lemog :: Bottled or tins ?! i can put it also in a glas but im afraid its going to lose fluidty on his way to france ;) :DHahaha

@SONIC-X :: Thanks Partner!

Cheers Friend!
See ya

10-27-2005, 09:39 AM
Tins are better to celebrate victories of Mr Copermine and Mr Preuss... a thought... maybe a basic "tin" material for his car ?

10-27-2005, 10:34 AM
Q: im curious if you find out what the Nr. 3 means

A: You want the 3 rd prize and not the 1st this time?

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: <<< 3 bouncing emoticons

Nice work as always Alexander....

10-27-2005, 11:52 AM
...maybe a basic "tin" material for his car ?

Hmm i see what you mean... thanks 4 your hint friend!
i found some references on the web... i will try to get the same look and feel.

10-27-2005, 12:06 PM
I ssupect 3 was (or is) the number on the car of a Race - Driver u admire...yes?

Cool progress...if u want the turbines inside to be more visible u could add a strong Orange -Red glow in tthere behind them..something like after burn...or something.... :)

10-27-2005, 12:11 PM
Yes Alex... exactly that... too much blue but very effective on the "third" picture... a sign :thumbsup:

10-27-2005, 12:28 PM
Great texture for the car, in my opinion it's not to satined and I can't wait to see the fire reflections on it...:thumbsup: !

10-27-2005, 09:43 PM
Marvelous looking racer with that first texture-job there! But looking at your first concept-sketch for the racer again, I'm wondering if you still intend work on the model itself? Especially the rear section... did you decide against those aileron-like things at the back?

Best regards...

Dam... only 2.800.000 Millions Polygons in my Scene and this *!# Box is going to crash :) hi hi hi

Here is a short idea how maybe,... possible... this final will ever look like ;)

Thanks 4 the great supply Friends... See ya!

10-28-2005, 12:23 AM
Amazing work, Im wondering with all the details in the scene :eek:

Im following this now :thumbsup:

10-28-2005, 12:44 AM
I Love When You Come Across Work From Artists That Definatly Have The Right Feel For Whats Happening And What Needs To Happen Within Compositions.

Can't Wait To See The Complete Render....

Good Luck

10-28-2005, 12:45 AM
So you are almost done then :D:bounce:

10-28-2005, 03:57 AM

Hi Folks,

Here you can see what is in each layer.

Layer 1 :: Background / sky (painted in Photoshop & a wacom)

Layer 2 :: The Big-City (putting this in a seperate layer gives me some more freedom 4 later adjustements... ;)

Layer 3 :: The back part of the raceway (most of it will be covered with smoke and fire from the explosion )(i will show this in the next post)

Layer 4 :: The Arena (Fire and smoke / particle effects will be rendered seperate because with Mental ray and GI "on" i got a lot of strange distortion... so they will be rendered with the default scanline renderer..

Layer 5, 6, 7... (See ya on the next update ;) )

Cheers :beer: Alex

10-29-2005, 01:16 PM
Wow Alex :eek: , you blow my mind ---> http://images.leportailweb.com/clips/smiley/ipb/lamo.gif

Keep up your stunning job mate :bounce:

10-29-2005, 01:25 PM

10-29-2005, 01:48 PM
Very impressive work! Bravo! Keep it up!:bounce:

10-29-2005, 03:23 PM
cooool :thumbsup: keep it up :thumbsup:

10-30-2005, 02:55 AM
Very nice. The "oilpainting look" for the sky looks very cool

10-30-2005, 04:34 PM
I want to say Thanks for all the great support and feedback in this thread.
Im very happy to see that im somehow on the right way with my image ;)

I rendered 2 versions of the racer yesterday and today but im currently total unheappy with that carpaint material.
(thanks Lemog you are so right! )
Problem: i want the objects surrounding the vehicle to reflect on the carpaint ... so i have to render it with the scene... but with mental ray and GI this carpaint looks more like a Whale-skin :/
Rendered with the default scanline-renderer it looks good... but only without GI.. but i do need Global Illumination ...grrr :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I have tryed to fake GI with default lighting and placed it into the image ( it just looks like a fake ;) ) :banghead:

Ok. i will see ya on the next update Friends... with a fresh new carpaint on the racer ;)

See ya

10-30-2005, 06:57 PM
Hey there Alexander, The third works way better for me, I think you could afford to make the material brighter and a little whiter to bring it more out of your background... Good luck with the rest mate:buttrock:

10-30-2005, 06:59 PM
i prefer the third one.:bounce: :thumbsup:

10-31-2005, 02:51 AM
I like number one :)

10-31-2005, 03:50 AM
go for #3 alex.

10-31-2005, 03:57 AM
For me it's the first... it remain me so much all the work of the guys in these ols years, who polish carosseries of that kind of cars... not paint... just many many hours to polish... to have a finished aspect really smooth and clean... a time where these guys was very proud of their work :thumbsup:

And you Alex, you could be proud too :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

10-31-2005, 06:13 AM
# 1 looks nice.

10-31-2005, 06:14 AM

Great textures Alex... Keep on rocking:bounce:

10-31-2005, 06:40 AM
I've almost missed some great updates - your composition is amazing:thumbsup: , I'm not astonished that your boxx is crashing...concerning your material problems: I don't see them, I like your "whale material" as well as the third version...Great work as always!:applause:

Cheers Friends and thanks 4 your feedback!

10-31-2005, 07:29 AM
i think it's hard to pick now unless you put it in environment, don't know you plan something in next update , but I think reflection is very important in car paint, maybe you can add it , and if you decided to go sepia in final , i think value of car and street is not defferent enough (in my opinion) , good and very potential image in this challenge again ! dude!

10-31-2005, 07:43 AM
In first... thanks for highres... that can permit us to really appreciate your work... and definitively... I prefer the first material... the third is not appropriate for me... too satined... a strange material for me... it remove a part of spectacular of your car... really my tought... it's maybe a mistake of my eyes...
...I stopped now... the choice is yours... I've just check your picture another time before to press on the "Submit Reply" button... and definitively... I prefer the first material :thumbsup: :bounce::beer: :arteest: :buttrock: :wip: :banghead: :lightbulb :wavey:

Gee, me got nothing to crit, it's looking very good, so much work and details! :thumbsup: :thumbsup: SFX are great too!

10-31-2005, 08:07 AM

10-31-2005, 08:09 AM
You don't whant to do a highres with the first texture?
I didn't dare to ask it :scream: hahaha

I'm taking a fat chance.

Even if only the vehicle maybe not the whole scene.

Sorry I asked.

Can't wait to see it.

10-31-2005, 10:45 AM
very beautiful ! Nice colors !

10-31-2005, 12:39 PM
Here is a version with the 3rd material... Im bit cunfused now... maybe a mix from the first and the third material in the next version ;)

this looks veeery nice! full throttle!!!:) i prefer the 3rd material, although if i were you i would make it look even "whiter" (to additionaly pop out of the background, and also to reffer to racing tradition of your country, although i see your reference is mercedes's "silver arrows" :) ) and combine it with red numbers painted on vehicle, it looks nice combined with white.
i hope i helped at least a bit! :thumbsup:

10-31-2005, 12:58 PM
Amazing work. Compostion, colors, model, i liked everything:bounce:. Maybe something to do on the explosion, but this is the minor problem:hmm:. Congrats mate, you are doing a great work. :applause:

Hi Friends,

here is the racer with the updated first Material.

The explosion in the background is made with the default cell material from 3DSMAX and displacement... very simple and very quick technique... but i think it works.

I dit also a hihgres version again.
please check it out here

>> HIGHRES VERSION << (http://www.kira-network.com/pics/large2.jpg)

See ya Friends
And Big thanks 4 all the masive feedback and hints!

Cheers Alex

11-02-2005, 07:12 AM
Very nice render, also think the explosions fits in very well even though they are simple.

Only thing is perhaps, that all the people around the explosion fire are standing the exactly same way as the people far away from it. Would nice if they had a reaction to the explosion, like holding up their hands in front of face. Ducking. If you know what i mean.

It would be a VERY nice touch i think :wip:

The sparks from the racer looks great.

Looking forward to see the driver with a pair of real 50's goggles :cool::cool::cool:

11-02-2005, 07:25 AM
Shaping up very nicely here - particularly how the fireball illuminates parts of the structure on the left, nice touch.

Things that stand out to me as slightly off: the fire components have rather sharp edges, maybe they could get more of a frayed/broken-up edge (guessing these are some sort of sprites... not familiar with Max cells... but there's an alpha involved perhaps, could have its edges softened)

And then the arcs on the base wall of the grandstand, just looks like they could use a softer bevel or something, as they look a bit painted on right now - it's hard to see if it's a straight extrude inwards and a shadow, or if they are soft concave insets.

Just details however. The main impact of the image is great, and that's what matters :thumbsup:

11-02-2005, 07:27 AM
Oooh, I'm loving this render. I definitely think your project is coming along well, and that it has a top-notch feel.

Just one very minor suggestion: The main car looks like its been playing bumper cars for the last 200 laps... very scratced and battered... and it looks superb like this! :) However, i noticed in the high-res version that the front grill is nearly impeccable. A little wear and tear on the front of the car is what i suggest. Just a suggestion, though.

Keep up the great work!

11-02-2005, 07:43 AM
very nice render, it's getting really spectacular, and lots of detail!
what does the nr3 stand for ? :)

11-02-2005, 07:52 AM
Same material... ? strange... it appear to need more reflectivity... not ? now, it just appear more "scratched"... but as the previous rendering... very satined... it missed something I think... :shrug:

Agree with James about arc now... I don't see that before, but now... I see only that :D

11-02-2005, 08:36 AM
That's a great work. Nice fx. I would just say the explosion could light more the bg to be more integrated.
Good luck.

11-02-2005, 08:58 AM
Very good mood in the render:thumbsup:

The cell material workes out nicely, it just needs some DOF or Motionblur og something to get the action going.
sparks are brilliant,.

11-02-2005, 11:10 AM
That highres texture looks great up close and the flames of crash are great.

Nice going dude.

11-02-2005, 11:41 AM
Now its becoming spectacular.... (honest I was worried that all that work would go to waste cause without the smoke-fireballs the image IMHO looked dull)

11-02-2005, 07:54 PM
Wow Alex , just wow :eek:

Really amazing, fire effects are perfects and add so much to the color balance , and wow again.
Just few suugestions if you let me : all the Bronson team :scream: is looking at the race ground , even those who are actually in flames... well something's disturbing about that :D .
And maybe some scratches on the "3" very clean comparing to texture around (gorgeous by the way)...

Well I guess this is neatpicking besides only on the Hi.res (thx btw), maybe I look at you pic a little bit too long

11-02-2005, 11:06 PM
Nothing much to crit.
The grand atmosphere of legendary race is here.
Only the explosion trail is kinda cheap,but I guess you are working on it.
Cool stuff here pal.
Seeya :wavey:

11-03-2005, 09:31 AM
Perfectly! With streams of air from huge speed it will be magnificent!

11-03-2005, 11:14 AM

@ Lemog :: Hi Friend! Now i found the problem with the Material. As i said bevore the problem is GI. Now i found a good way to mix the materials together. ( i will show it in a few minutes) I think without your help critique it would be looking awfully in the Final. Thanks Friend!

@ simon.wt :: Thanks Friend! Its just my third CHALLENGE! ;)

@ imbusion :: Thanks! When there is time enough left this is defenetly one of my higher prioritys!

Hi Alex.
Beatyfull stuff here,I like the car u made here,just positive comments from my side man,
It is for sure one of the better entrys here.

I,personally would sufficate the fire in the trail of the explosion,make it more of a smoke kinda with fire parts in it rather than fire kinda with smoke parts in it,explosion itself is nice,
but the trail is pocking my eye.
Just beeing honest.But like I have said,beside this minor thing,this is peace of work.
Keep it sharp.
Greetings :)

wo realy intresting very very very :bounce: ....the only crit is that the place where the explosion is happening should be a lot briter than the other places i think ....make it

11-04-2005, 04:13 AM
The racer is now really better... a last point... why don't have some "artefacts" (real artefacts) of reflection of the racer... I know that's not a mirror... but in other hand, the surface is not anodized... We must certainly watch some "forms" of the environment in reflection... not ? nothing very precise... but anyway some tones nuances...

About the "3"... I don't know who suggest to put it in red... I think that can be can good... but not a random red... for it... pick a red color of the explosion... that will continue to limit the color spectrum of your future vintage race...

I always have a little problem with the low wall at left... in fact, it was appear very poor with the rest... maybe that give us a resting part in the picture, but in this case... eye is catch by this wall... It need certainly not too much other details... just to have an interest... don't know... that will be statues, molures, wires, posters, holes, wrinkles or scratches... we doesn't forget that this wall is near of the track and can receive many things...

The electric wires will certainly find a good place on the rails of each part of the track, and why not, some little electric boxes, or old light box...

Some morning thoughts Alex... in you can find something inside that, I will happy... :thumbsup:

11-04-2005, 02:16 PM
cool updates :cool:

11-04-2005, 02:34 PM
Nice colors and composition Vampeta. Also very interesting style, it's like alternative future. No crit on the work, maybe just a fire flows a bit unatural, but I guess you will tweak that in the future, Good luck!

11-04-2005, 05:42 PM
God, I wish there was a "jaw-drop" smilies available, cause my jaw literally dropped 5 feet from seeing the latest image.
Absolutely incredible work, Alex (as always). :bowdown:

@ Lemog :: Hi my friend. Sorry 4 the late answer. I know what you mean but im afraid that this is not easy to realize because the racer is now rendered with a different rendering engine and its not part of the main scene anymor (you saw the result with mentalray ;) ) If i want to do this artefacts i have to paint by hand :banghead:

About the "3"... my first version was in red but somehow i like it more in black.. maybe i will turn again :Dhahaha

The wall with the arcs is now a bit tuned up, and of course the left side will be covered with smoke from the burning "AUTO UNION"

Electric wires?!... great idea!
As always very helpfull hints my friend :beer: Cheers!

@ A I R :: Thanks Friend! Yep its somehow hard to realice something you can imagine but you dont know exactly how to....! I think the Fire is a good example 4 this. And 4 myself... i like the end result. :beer:

@ visualact.com :: Thanks Friend!
@ SONIC-X :: Dito!
@ daWinky :: Danke! Du machst mich echt etwas verlegen :blush: Thanks!!
@ melkao :: Thanks!
@ the best :: Dito!
@ Crying Horn :: Thansk! Yep... Fire is still WIP but nearly finished
@ ArtisticVisions :::blush::bounce::buttrock:
@ mmoir ::Thanks Friend!
@ agou :: Dito!
@ ziriguidum :: Thank you!

And a big sorry 4 the spare answers to all your posts, Im trying to follow and answer in each thread as in my own. I will found some more time after this image is finished! I promise!

See ya Friends!

Ok Alex... I just see the "AUTO-UNION" position with your last update, and of course... my suggestion about these details are out of subject now...

About metal aspect of your car... compositing and FX is the final step of our work, not ? you can add all these little detail with your "hand"... and that will be Spectaculay Awesome... :wip:

11-08-2005, 08:37 AM
Mostlty spectacular man! Cool work, I like these fire smoke effects!:cool:

11-08-2005, 08:39 AM

11-08-2005, 06:58 PM
... aaahhhh.... no words... :applause: Looks totally awesome! Great work!!!

11-08-2005, 07:31 PM
This is a fantastic scene! Everything's moving forward toward the viewer and the Dutch tilt on the camera helps convey the dynamics of all that forward motion! I noticed that you're thinking about putting birds in that "V" shaped crest between the statue and the building in the distance. Right now that "V" is acting as a directional element to point your eye to the explosion in back of the race car. If you put stuff there it might take your eye out of that wonderful flow you've got going on. Have you considered something else that would help accent that forward motion? Maybe a couple jets high up in the sky flying almost straight up, following that center point perspective, with some wispy contrails or something that act as arrows to direct your eye down to the explosion?

Just a thought. This image really stands out! It would make a killer poster!

See ya on the next update Friends.

11-09-2005, 10:21 PM
great update alex. The only thing that strikes me odd is the way the mouth is but is you are going to cover it like you have it the concept sketch it doesnt matter :D :thumbsup:

11-10-2005, 07:40 AM
Great work on this character. he's completely in the syle of your picture. Maybe the upper lips is a little too in front but we have to see in the good point of view because he will be small at screen.

11-10-2005, 07:51 AM
hey nice work, vampeta, keep it up :thumbsup:

11-10-2005, 09:02 AM
