Hi there
This is my very first picture about this challenge's 3D section.
Let me introduce the scene "Hero's Jump Over The Cityscape".
You can see here a mannequin hero and a poor cityscape. But that is enough for the first time to give a sense what is in my mind.

As you see i plan to make a scene that a hero changes his vehicle whilst they are airborn. It is just because previous vehicle was fatally damaged.
This may sound a spectacular moment of an adventure. Is not it?

Joshcxa i am planning to make a scene %75 realistic %25 cartoony, however something close to a comicbook cover maybe.
Nichod, thanks, as soon as i make the models of aircrafts and characters, i am planning to rotate and try different shots for both the camera and the lights.

With perfect finalization, this one will be breathtaking. Around concept, I like this one little bit more than your 2D entry :)

The model is coming along well. But some comments:
-Watch the hip area the crease above the leg should curve downward in the front.
-I'd watch that shoulder area, perhaps rebuild that. It looks like you built from the shoulder down.
-The elbow is not rotated correctly and should be angled on the x axis and not parallel, observe your own arm when straight for reference
-Can we get a front view without the wireframe?
Great work! Keep it up!

This is a painted sketch of the jumping hero. I thought that it is more suitable to the 3d section more than the 2D section. I must design a new character for the 2D section.

KU2GUN
09-19-2005, 08:18 PM
"Ramtin Moom", here is the reference as you requested, it is puny as you see. But also easy to find reference and not so good. I think my hero's body is not so good too.
I must develop it. As "Nichod" told some mistakes present over the model. Here is another view. Front wireframe.
From now on i am planning to develop the character more.

Cool Concept! Will we see the guy in motion? Will we see either the guy with motion blur or the background? I thinks its a really good idea.
KU2GUN
09-19-2005, 10:15 PM
Hero will possibly be shown with sharp antialias like when we use a high ASA film, high shutter speed photograph shootings. Instead, the bacground will possibly blur just because to maintain the focus as in the real time.
