Hi everyone
I'm so glad to join the challenge again. The last challenge was a lot of fun. I hope this one gonna be fun too. " Spectaculur" is very difficult topic for me. It's so hard to get an idea.
First sketch, I got inspiration from shot animation " Rockfish" it was created by Blur Studio. The animation is very spectaculur. Especially when the guy catchs a big fish. I just say "wow"
Second sketch I don't really have a concept for this one.Just try to make human extraordinary
All comments are very welcome!!

Third Sketch.Actually I like this one more than last sketchs. In this oicture I would like to capture scene of the girl saves someone life. I tried to emphasize movement and dynamic composition.

There's a great sense of movement and excitement in these sketches! I like the first one with the big beastie... but the perspective and action in the third one is great. If there's a spectacular city backdrop it could work really well.

Hi Everyone
I just did more sketch for composition. I tried to put some foreground to make the image looks more deep and changed a little bit idea. The idea is about big billboard on the top of building collapsed and made one guy, who is a cleaner the board, fail down but he was saved by gangers
Rightnow I feel character's pose is kinnda strange. I have to work on it more. Next time I will update characters developmet and transportation ,city design
All comments are very welcome!!

i think the cleaner is too small atm ... i mean perspective wise to the guy who is holding him ... or maybe your cleaner is 6 years old :D

I've been busy in this week. Not so much time to work on CG Challenges. Anyway I will do my best
now I come up with a new concept. Maybe it's not interesting but i like to do.
The concept is about Evil robots from other plant attack the earth and someone try to save the world from them. that it!. I havn't thought about concept so much next time i will explan more ....

The designs of Evil robots from other plant. They look like insects and have a lot of weapon in the body. I got inspiration from The Matrix movie

Character designs for main characters. They are cops and try to save the world from evil robots which are from other planet. I think this one does not satisfy me in term of the design. I will sketch more.....

I did some city sketchs. Just want to know how the picture' environment looks like. My idea wants to create a future city. There are a lot of different creatures and different style of tell building such as city in Fifth Element. It would be interesting I think.

Keko,

Impressive image. The robot design is exceptional. Hopefully you'll find a way to finish this, as it's definately a contender.

If you find the time, try fiddling with the colors surrounding the man and woman. At the moment, the woman's head fades a bit into the color of her suit and hair, and the man's trousers blend too evenly into the background.

Wonderful sense of action and composition.

I decided to use motion blur in the PS to give the picture more movement and add few highlight on the robot and main characters. I'm not sure it works or not.

Keko,

I also prefer the action blur, though I think the woman needs to be a little more out of focus, especially her back leg and hair (as these would be moving the most).

Good luck with the deadline! :buttrock:

Sa was dee krub dude!
I like the motion blurred version too because it gives a better sense of movement and it makes the picture look more dynamic. The buildings look awesome man! So many details!
Good luck!

my concept

Chasing scenes are very common in sci-fi movies. The adrenaline-pumping sequences of Aliens chasing humans, or humans chasing humans - no matter who chases who, these scenes are always exciting. What makes them so exciting and memorable to the audiences are the unbelievable special effects and interesting camera angles that make them larger than life.
These are the inspirations for my "Spectacular" entry.

Invasion! Earth has been attacked by the Insectoids, a hord of insect-machine hybrid from outerspace! Humans fell easy preys for the heartless killing extraterrestrials. In this piece we witness a moment of life and death of a couple who's trying to escape the wrath of a giantic Insectoid. Not knowing where to go, or what lies ahead, all they know is they have to stay alive.
After a long chase, the giant Insectoid crashing into the city they once called 'home', now all they see are wrecks and debris.

It's such a spectacular moment that unfortunately they don't have time to enjoy such a visual treat.
But it will live on in their memories. And it will be passed on to generations and generations after this. When they manage to survive... Or will they?

Keko,

Exciting image and well thought out description.

Even if its not as polished as you like, I still hope it places highly, as its among the most detailed and ambitious scenes of the entire challenge.

Best of luck and congratulations on beating the deadline! :buttrock:
