Yes, looks nice, Laurent - I'm having some doubts about the make-up though.... maybe slightly "putain" no? Although the overall look will be very much affected by the hair, so I'll wait until you've grown it

Hey James... sweet french word in your mouth today :D hahahaha... her make-up is not fixed for the moment... but I think she need to have something strong... but nothing sure for the moment... I'm waiting clothes and hairs... usually, make-up is the final touch, not ? :bounce:
Thanks for your opinion mate

Hi lemog,

I'm here again after a long job, and what I see ! pouuaaa...terrible !
I really like your composition with the stairs, (yes i've stopped here), the final image of the environment is very clean. Colors, compo, point of view, all.
I see you've start to mod the character. Concept is very great, and character is good starting again..as always.

Nice progress on your woman modeling! Concerning her "putain" look, I think it's because of her make up, too pink and too outrageous. But it depends on her final look, her clothes.

Keep it going, I like your multiple-updates thread!

Nice work Antoine,

The model looks good form far... IMHO I will rework a little the face to make it more "angellique" but it`s maybe a question of hair and make-up... as James said in french you must work on it :D

Keep this great quality

Lemog
10-19-2005, 11:07 AM
too pink and too outrageous.the color of the year ? hahaha...
Perhaps I do a mistake... cause I think that can be okay with the next steps of clothing and airstyling... :scream: we will see girl

I can only speak about 3 words, oui, monsieur and merci... not a good combination, for a blonde like me... haha...
mmhmm... I think that can be sufficient for lot of frenchies... not ? :D hahahaha

Gpepper -> I can reassure you mate... her clothes will have certainly a little bit of transparencies... so sexyyyyyyyy

Nomad -> "angelique"... it's a good idea... but I think to be far of that... in fact, I've planed a girl... with lot of skills... sure of her... and not so young...
...and as James said... I will work more on her make-up... pt'1 :scream: hahaha
Thanks for comment mate

Distraction... yes, sure ! it's good to take a day break like that in the actual rush...
Certainly the more interesting thing to test yesterday was the Wacom Cintiq 21UX (http://www.wacom.com/lcdtablets/21ux_images/21UX_01.jpg)... genial to work with that... very intuitive with a very good screen quality... just a little bit expensive for the moment...

I don't post these tests for the moment... cause I must do other ones with the dark background of the library... without this background, not easy to have a really objective perception of effects.
In other hand, all the angel will be in a kind of luminous and magic ray... much tests will be required in the final way of the picture to obtain a good effect... later then... I think very later in fact... :scream: hahaha

MAYBE having some pages scratched or used at the corners (while CD's and numeric stuffs taking proheminent place, maybe The knowledge librairy is'nt that much aahhh, entretenue (sorry no spellbook arround )?
and certainly at least one or 2 different pages, looks like the same shape with different textures... ?

Zapan -> I've working yesterday night of these textures... result soon... :)

Beckie -> BOXX ??? hahaha... Are you crazy girl... too dangerous for me... to fast computer for me, I would risk an accident... hahaha :banghead:

Nemirc -> Thanks to come here Sergio... I don't know this game, but I think it's a good compliment for me... Thanks a lot mate... really...

Gpepper -> Sure mate, with the new orientation, I hope it's more clear now, thanks :lightbulb

Alex.h. -> Thanks mister ZB :bounce:

Cipher -> It's very kind to find little time to come here... always really appreciated you know, thanks Séb

shtl -> yes, you're right, for the moment, all shape are sames... I don't think to scratch or used the corners, but certainly modify some geometry, but certainly only in the final framing, to don't modifiy "all" the shape forming these pages legs...
Thanks for your good advice Corentin.

Goul -> yes... these test could continue only when this angel will be in her real environment... it's to early for the moment, without the real background... thanks Nicolas.

daWinky -> you're right, it's very interesting, in fact, I've planed previously to do a larger transition, but we must think to the clothes... and that decrease the transition area... Perhap there's some modification after clothing cession, I must acknowledge I really don't know for the moment. This week, I will hope to do hairs, and to start clothes... Thanks for your good idea of peeling Sabrina

She's coming on great, Laurent!

Ah the transition is great Laurent , almost natural :scream: , I also find tatoo's idea cool, In fact concerning the cloth , Maybe they could be morphed with pages too , like that , you could have a bigger transition... well just a tought...

This idea is very good... I have already a idea about clothes design... If I follow your idea... that will be a real challenge to me to adapt the toga to her legs... certainly I will try because is very interesting... about tattoos, definitively not, sorry, it's not a bad idea... I lke tattoos, but if I want to continue in the style I need... tattoos will be not easy to put on her...
Thanks for the morphing idea mate

makaron -> hahaha hairpaper... of course... the effect will be interesting, but I think to keep her feminity for this part of her... I'm now okay for her hairs, final idea is in my head... I must begin now, but why not, the design can evolve towards paper... or other :D hahaha... thanks

Hahaha... I forget the little girl... I hope to have enough time for her... time run very quickly... but I don't really no if that will be a little girl... maybe a little guy, not ? for the duality... knowledge attraction... and girl attraction... or mother attraction, if it's a really young boy... in fact, a mother... it's full of knowledge for his boy... must think... :curious:

Yes it is! Jewelry, perfect. Hair... on it's way. I'd suggest you make less of it on her forehead - either by maikng it thinner or by raising it a bit. For an "Angel of knowledge" a high forehead would be expected I think.

you can shrink her "wig" a tiny bit in the front and at the sides, and then tilt it back... just a tiny tiny bit... or put a lot of knowledge in her head so it gets a little bit bigger... :p

If you ask that my friend... it's certainly because you don't find that very good... of course, the render setup is actually very simple... due to the render time... but I really don't know if the hairs aspect will be 5 times better with the final setup...
in other hand... I've planed to work more on the shader, but only if the base, and the way are good... the first question for now... must I keep this method for hairs... or if I must try another one...
...thanks for your good advice Roshan, very important

Your hairstyle is something every coiffeur would be proud of! I especially love the backview in the last updates:thumbsup: . Great improvement on the frontview in the latest update. Perhaps just a little bit more forehead - and more knowledge...?
I don't really know, but I guess that this hair part down the middle is not a good improvement for a intelligent look - I could imagine the complete hair of the forehead pushed up and fixed with the diadem a little more back on the head...Anyways, I think Angel is very glad to finally have some hairs!!:)

Well... I don't know mate... "patchy and wooden" maybe... for the moment... I like the skin (better than hairs...) especially while thinking to my goal design for this picture... remember the environment...
Next steps certainly said us if you're right and if I do a mistake to continue in the actual way. One thing is sure... to much time on the same thing make us forget the objectivity, I know that... I must certainly finish her to know exactly if I must change of skin aspect and style...
Another thing... the actual render setup is really poor because the render time on my old PC... poor depthmap shadow is not the best in this case.
I'm happy to have your advice and remark, thanks for your 2c Martin...

Hmm...yes... paintover? Not a bad idea! If you can give her some of this softness for the final it could be very good.
And now, for gods sake - give her some clothes!

Wowow, beautiful lady, and the technique you used for the hair is working very well. I'm impressed:thumbsup: . The top of the arm (biceps) looks a bit strong though, but maybe she needs to be, in order to lift many books at once, hehe!
