AnimBot 02-23-2002, 08:15 AM It took me forever to get around to post something so I'm putting up my concept sketches. Her name will be Kathy.

I've actually started modeling her but this is the first chance I've gotten to post. What I wanted to do with this character was simply show a little girl in the midst of this apocolypse. Would a kid still be a kid if she existed in this hardened world? Or maybe I just wanted to make something I thought looked cool. Let me know what you guys think and I'll have some renders shortly.

Great Work I think is a great concept and the globe looks great I know thats not somthing you wold like to read but a good design is made of little details and if you go for the comic stile and some global illumination renders it will look great :D

Thanks I don't know if I'll be going with any Gi renderers or not, but I'll give it some thought.

Like the style. Never thought of the kid approach and the outfit is nice, hope you can nail it down in 3d.

These are my most recent renders as you can see I went with the overalls look. Still some little detail left to put in like wrinkles in the clothes, straps on the belt, and ah....... oh yea hands. I'm actually a long way from being done so any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

I was just messing around with textures. Here you can actually see her face. It looks kind of intersting but I will probably change the textures at some point.
