hey!!

sorry if this is in the wrong forum ....

does anyone know of any good FREE dvd software.
all i want to do is to be able to watch dvd's on my computer.
apparently media player doesn't know how to.
i've tried cliprex but that downloads and installs extra things like search assistants that i really don't want.

Media Player Classic

http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/

I got the Real Player & Quicktime alternative pack with it so I only have to install MPC to watch most things except mpeg4 I think. Of course, you need to codecs also. But that's another story.

Or VLC

Or PowerDVD(wait...this isn't free)
