I dont' know what I changed on my computer, but every time I try to open the 'properties' menu for one of my network connections in xp, I get this message:
"Some of the controls on this property sheet are disabled because one or more other Network property sheets are already open. To use these controls, close all other property sheets and then reopen this one."
Of course, there are no other 'property sheets' open, and the problem is still even after rebooting multiple times. So, I pretty much can't change any of the properties for any of my connections, which is retarded.
In searching, I've only found two items on this: For one, Microsoft admitted that it was a problem in windows 2000...which does me a lot of good. And another page I found suggested deleting the registry entry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network\NetCfgLock, which didn't fix the problem.
So...I'm out of ideas. :banghead:
Anyone else?
