Hey there,
I dont know what I changed in cinema 4d for my axis display arrow things to disappear, such as when i move into the point mode and select a point then its just yellow without the 3 arrows which allow you to move it around is specific directions. is there a setting that i couldve changed so that it doesnt show?

Try Edit (viewport)->configure->filter->Axis
