I've been using PS for years and never worked out how do do this, manily becasue I'm assuming it simply isn't possible - but you know what they say 'never assume, it makes an ass out of u and me'
So, can you link 3 layers together, so when you make a selection on the top layer, you can use the transform tool on all three layers at the same time?
The workarounds I use are quite time consuming.

I'm afraid not. By making a selection you are only able to edit a single layer. I've run into the same issue before and find that saving the selection, transform, reselect from saved selection, transform again, reselect from saved selection, transform again... etc. etc. This is the quickest way I've been able to do what you want.

Hope this helps?

Yeah, I thought it wasn't possible. That's the workaround I use more or less. I remember the exact transforms I made and then redo them with the exact same numbers for the underlying layers.
It's a pain though. It's pretty amazing that a premier app like PS cannot do something as simple and funcitonal as multilayer selection manipulation.

There is a way to manipulate as many layers as you want, but only certain things can be done. If you wanted to do a transform you could simply put the layers into a layer set and transform the layer set. Few things will work this way though.

Like your website, nice models. If you hit crtl+shift+t you shouldn't need to remember exact units, it should just transform again - using the last settings you used. The alternative is to try using actions or possibly scripting.

you can merge layers

ctrl+e, then copy them, then erase the history state when you merged the layers and paste them in a new layer
