I've made this here dragon head some time ago, but recently, I started making a body for it. This is what turned out. I'm using pictures from various D&D books and websites as reference as well as various pictures and illustrations of dinosaurs and reptiles.

The heads looking good dude just like in DnD book, you've got the gernaly shape of it correct, but i think the scales around the lips are looking bit strange, they seem a bit to square and stand out too much. Also the jaw seem a bit flat, could do with a bit of rounding out. the legs need a bit of detail but as u say u've only just started
