If you're able to stick close to that, then i'm sure it'll be an excellent model

That really looks slick, but I don't know if it really says "cartoon" to me yet, y'know?

Maybe make the wheels a little bigger than they need to be. Or maybe have the seat a little lower than it needs to be or something. :D

Just suggestions. Even so, I think it really looks great!

It´s not big wheels what´ll make your bike look funny, but SMALL wheels.

Try something like Akira Toriyama (creator of Dragonball and Dr. Slump series) does with his vehicles.

Concept is sweet. Tiny wheels rock. Maybe try the bike sphereized a bit like bowed out at the sides and squished front to back. Methinks it would be cool with that style of character. Great start.

Face modelling techniques in maya.. well I know a lot of people use the technique illustrated in Wiro's tutorial, which of course I can't remember where it is.. but you should be able to find it quite easily.

I personally model my faces poly by poly, but people call me mad so you might not want to do it my way;)

good start, good start . . . BUT [there's ALWAYS a but isn't there ;)]

I think you should narrow the eyes a bit more to match the ones in the concept.
Also, if you look at the concept, the form of the figure is an upside down trapazoid, meaning it's wide at the shoulders and gets smaller downwards.
Yours doesn't quite has this feature yet. and then one more thing, the upper body is to high when compared to the concept . . . .

and last, again when compared to the concept, the head is way too small.

just some pointers tho . . . ;)
