hello everyone, iv come across a recent obstacle in my journey to graduate from school. Basically we are not able to use any downloaded rigs or characters from the internet on our demo reels for animation anymore. This leaves me, the animator, with nothing to animate(don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I’m just scared of having no rigs at the moment..lol). So iv been stressing out trying to find rigs/characters that not only aren’t available to download online in mass, but also that are quality enough that i enjoy animating with them. If anyone knows a modeler, rigger, or animator with a personal collection of NON mainstream rigged or unrigged characters, please let me know or contact me. I will definitely give credit to all people involved in the creation of the assets i use and if required will even get my animation approved by the "modeler/rigger" before putting on my reel to make sure they would like to be associated with my work. I really really appreciate any help anyone out there can offer me, and thank you so much for your time^^. good luck to everyone and please contact me if you know of anything that could help :)

But how can anybody know what rigg you have used, If you for an example use final rigg in maya or maybe biped in max, And you just make a box man/woman. And if you want facial animation you could for an example just do it with som simple textures.

Yeah very true. They cant tell what rigs i'm using. I think i miss wrote my comment about that, they are banning the characters not the rigs (but usually they are character rig combos like Blue guy and Ik Joe, etc etc). That is a really good idea just to make a simple box, or spear character with a basic rig. I want to try and have a couple animations with some more detailed facial animation and lip sync, but I will probably use this advise on a few of my animation. Thank you for your input klingos^^, i appreciate the help very much :)
