Hi there,
usually I am more 3d-Application user. But I am facing another problem, where I can't find a solution. So like I said I am not sure if this is the right place to ask for it but I'll give it a try.
What I want is a application/tool which reads out the measured values out of an CAD drawing. Basically I want to load a file and which could be either 2D/3D and have access to all the values which were measured from the CAD engineer via autocad or something. I ended up with taking a closer look at the dxf file format which provides a wide range of possibilities. But unfurtunately every designer seams to have his/her own way/technique to create a CAD drawing and dimensions are sometimes text or mtext or whatever.
If somebady has seen a tool or a libary which could give me acces or better read out measured values of a dxf file I would be more than happy...
