I am really excited about this challenge

But before i get cracking i should start some homework :)

take care!

hey thanks P.Delapouite and erilaz!!

turns out its not called d-form, its called chibi.

hes some chibi characters some guy/girl drew
i dont know whether i will adopt a total anime style for this image, maybe just proportions like the hobbit guy

Ha! The concept reminds me of the guy bainting on the street with the giant brush in akira.

It'll be cool to see the chibi style, espesially if it looks like the last picture you posted. (or is that yours? I wasn't sure...)

Peace

nice one!
in order to make a bit more resemblant to our dear yourself, you should make the cheekbone larger and rounder ( and i'd shrink a bit the cheeks, they're too wide. The eyes should be rounder...

for the body, make the neck way smaller (make it in proportion with the rest of the body and make only the head cartoon-big...
the arms are a bit too long...

it can become a truly great model! keep posting!!!!

dont worry i whipped fotoshop into line
i do need to do a lot more work on the shirt, all in good time i spose

ive been using max for about a year and a half i guess

---

should i add more detail to the pants, like more creases and 'flab rolls' or should i leave them as the cartoony simple ones i have now?

Sorry a million if it was posted and I missed it above. What type of modelling did you use for your head? Box modelling or whatever? Or what? Thanks

mrmark
12-14-2002, 10:02 PM
hey everyone
its come to my attention that my final image is considered distasteful:shame: which is a bad thing, coz i dont want ppl to pass judgement upon me based upon an image.
as soon as the opportunity becomes available i will post a new picture of my chibi, a tasteful one.

thanks

and once again im really sorry about it
