Looks good to me so far, but since its at such an early stage I dont have much to crit really. There is only one thing that I see, on the shoulder guards, they seem kind of blocky. You might plan to add sub-d but if you didnt I figured I would point it out. Also it doesnt look like those shoulder guards will give the shoulder much room to move and turn.
Do you have the sketches or pictures your using as reference if you are using any?

well i am using the comic book called black moon chronicles as an inspiration if you know it , you would recognise those shoulder gaurds :)
for the rest it is just doing orm modeling on a character i made where the proportions are right but the anatonomical details are not what they should be so i am embaraced to post em here:hmm:
now speaking of shoulder gaurds . i designed them so that they are loose from the bust , the belts you see are there to press em against the arms.
this way , the shoulders have the needed freedom to move , since the belt is atatched at the top of the shoulder (ive spend some time thinking about it)
and you are right , i could give em a few more edges at the corners to make em smoother

thanks for the comment guy.
here is another update , as you can see i completed the bust , and i have a feeling that it is right.
working downwards , made a ringmail skirt thingi (dunno what you call it else:) ) and cloth as decoration with a belt to hold the sword and the cloth in place

Hi Heavy B !
That's a good start you have there. I love that comic book too. But sorry I don't remember which character exactly wear that armor... If you could post an image that you're inspiring from it would help.
Overall I would say that the armor is a little too "soft" everything is very "roundly" (I realise my english is really poor, hope you see the point ) Maybe you can try some more sharp edge and corners and some pointy things...
Au cas ou j'essaye en francais : Tout est tres arrondi , peut etre avec des bordures des pieces un peu carrées ca le ferait bien ou des pointes....
Keep it up !

thanks zapan , i will need to see what i can make more edgy , it will be a lot of work with those smoothing groups and i probaly will be doing it in the end when it is complete to get the best result.
i got inspire by the black gaurd in the comic book then i returned the it back to the library and let my imagination run loose and this is wath popped up.
oh and zapa ,
Mon français est très terrible , je parle néerlandais mais je comprendre vous a petite peu:)
