just wandering - does everybody use standart maxscript editor (the one from 3dsmax studio environment "MAXScript | New Script") ? isn't there a much more civilized programmer solution with non-buggy code highlight, multi-tab editor or even code-insight feature people have in most other coding languages? the thought came into my mind after i saw a pluggable Python editor to be easily used inside a Blender3D.
i haven't seen the new maxscript debugger in max8, but i have little hope something will change drastically in standart editor.
i'm not looking for an external editor that supports maxscript; i once tried external editor for Macromedia Flash scripting, but this is just not comparable with internal editor with immediate debugging. plugin-like integration would be just perfect.
anybody has thoughts about it?
