Make a new layer and name it outlines. Now you'll go over the image with the pen tool http://home.earthlink.net/%7Eaantuna1389/egorsontutorial/penicon.jpg. Tracing over the image to give it the solid lines. This way we can later go in and use the magic wand to select sections of the images to fill in color. You'll want the lines to close so you have no openings. After all of the paths are made go in to the paths tab. Right click on the path created from the pen tool. And select stroke path. I used the pen to stroke the path. Depending on how you want your lines. Also remember that the settings you have in the tool bar are the settings your path will use. So if your pen tool is set to have a diameter of 10 it'll stroke it that big. I used a diameter of 2 on this image.Now what we have is the out line of Egorson. Just chillin in his pose....

I'm not sure if i even have lines on the corners of this "shape".

I'm really bad at this, so help would really be great.

From your screenie, i think when you right click your selecting stroke path > pencil

You want to select stroke path > brush

Also you should select the brush tool and define the size etc before stroking the path. Also click the define path button which is the middle of the three buttons on the tool bar to the right of the pen icon. Hope that helps.

I can't find this :( :

i think when you right click your selecting stroke path > pencil

Could you make a ring around where i'm supoced to click and so on? Potoshop is very confusing.

After you right click on the path and choose stroke path, you will get a little popup with a dropdown menu on it, this is where you choose pen or brush. The line you get will vary depending on your brush settings at the time you do it (width, opacity etc).
