View Full Version : 3d max mental ray Hdri problem
vashts1985 08-29-2005, 05:35 PM wondering what im doing wrong, i have my scene setup with a skylight that is projecting a hdri map and im useing raytrace materials to try and get a good global lighting render of a car model i am making. for some reason nothing wants to reflect the hdri map, just other solids in the scene. i have light tracer enabled and im sure all the materals are set properly. maybe there is an option i am overlooking. other important info is my background render enviroment is set to pure white. do i need more lighting in the scene? or maybe pure white walls for the tracer to bounce off of? do i needto mess with the intesity multplier? any help yall can give would be appreciated. thank you
