View Full Version : YOUR SKETCHBOOK (AUG 22-30): Post a page from your sketchbook
RobertoOrtiz 08-29-2005, 01:56 PM Hi guys, Roberto here.
I am going to try an experiment.
The idea is for people to post a page of their sketchbook.
The only rule is that it had to be drawn last week.
The cool thing with these threads is that it if you post often, it will give you a motivation to
show your sketchbook work either on this thread or next weeks threads.
So lets see some sketches!

Plus a little afterthought with the shirts.

Darren. I love these!
Do you edit at all in PS? What sort of materials do you use?
Most importantly: are these from life?

Thanks Teresa, no they are not from life, the sketch compilation is from my imagination, the bone rendering is referenced from a line diagram, it had no tone, so the form description is all from my mind.
The work is actually in grey scale, so I do change the hue yes, but thats about it.
I generally work with Derwent Graphites and Prismacolor pencils (black only).
Oh, and i sketch on plain copy paper.
