hotkey for external mel script

window - settings/prefs - hotkeys

under categories scroll down to user, hit "new" and paste in your script.

Could also just paste in the main procedure of the script. Assuming of course the script is more than one or two lines of code. ;)

thanks guys, 1 question though, why cant i assign Tab key for its hotkey? is it possible?
