View Full Version : animation: commercial: part of graduation project
Khepri 11-04-2002, 10:32 PM hi all yall!
here is an animation I created last wednesday and rendered during the weekend at full PAL res.
then I composited the final thing today and added text.
its part of my "ego profile" wich is my graduation project.
I am going to create a couple of cg/live action commercials for it using object I created for the main short. this is the first one.
hope you like it.
I have 2 versions of the animation. they are both 360x288 but there is a slight difference in size...... so please be gentle and try to view the wmv one first
1. Wmv 1.1 mb (http://www.rain3danimator.com/video/nemo.wmv)
here are 2 frames at full res

I like very much that animation, ...you said: "simplicity is the key"
nice motion on the tape and nice bubbles...
...but people are mainly interested about three kind of things: female characters, fantasy characters and cars, and artists like you (and me) who don't make any of those things never will be popular...
pd: why you Dutch people have such a strong relationship with orange color? ...clockwork orange??

agree :thumbsdow
the whole "I have a female character and I rule" thing makes me sick.
I made a female face once, like, 2 years back, and sure I can model a head+body, but, in the end do I feel "better" after making the 1.00000.000000000000000th body+head?
no.
I made a fantasy character, I haven't made a car because I don't like cars.
no offense to people who created very nice/cool models of course.
but, it seems like this whole forum is about women/man/dragon/car models... very weird.
I don't have to be popular, or be the "king of 3d"(I am a realistic thinking person) but, hell, wtf is wrong with things I make?
isn't it super-ultra realistic enough(not my aim anyhow)?
isn't it original?
didn't I put a "female characters, fantasy characters and cars"model in it?
if its bad/horrible/ugly say so people, but don't "view" and leave. isn't the threadname clear enough?
/me looks if he accidentally put in "nude female character" in the threadname
why do you think I post on this forum?:hmm:
it seems damn useless from time to time.
no offense to cgtalk.com, this is a general problem on forums imho.:annoyed:
Palmix&Xout thnx for the comments.

Excellent !
I especially like the effect you have produced with the whirling ribbons.
crits: only that towards the very end the ribbons disappear rather then finish their "spin out".
BTW I enjoyed seeing something diffent posted here as well
