There are some funny things on there such as converting transistor counts to human populations. Interesting things as well, such as sub-surface scattering. Enjoy.

 Thanks for the link. The new Final Fantasy demo is looking nice. That is a new version? I don't remember there being much of a set or a background in the NV20 version.

ok... so for the uninititated... is there a link somewhere to explain about this gpu? i mean what's going on here, is it able to do realtime subsurface scattering and effects like that? no more need for a render engine (apart from for raytracing)? or are they saying it's possible to use it's processing power to augment rendering (icefx style, as an onboard renderfarm)? explain please?

It's going to be marketed as the world's first fully programmable graphics processor. Supposedly one can implement any effect with this beast. We'll have to see what happens at Comdex in a few weeks though, where it will be unleashed on the USA.

Is it me, or are those pics just a heap of bs...
I mean, i think most of them (if not all) are pre-rendered...
I think most of these pics are to be examples of WHERE nVidia is planning to go with it's new gpu, not actually what it can do right now...(are those LW and Brazil renders?)
