View Full Version : linking morph targets?

ive rigged up the face and its allw orking A ok, but when i link the individual morph targets to their respective bones, the face deforms out of control when i rotate anything.

heres an example, ive linked the top lip to the head bone, and rotate the head to look up. any help with solving this problem would be hyper appreciated. (im using 3ds max 5)

okay i worked out what i did wrong, the verticies that are moving to far are both connected to the bone, and the morph targets. so whenever i move the head the movement on the verticies is multiplied. or something.

if theres any way of fixing this id love to know...

Is the morpher modifier below the skin modifier in the stack? Check that out... That might be the problem... If so, put it below the skin modifier...

thanks Mouli, yeah that was actually a problem i was having earlier on in this project. the skin modifier is at the top now though, and still i have the same problem.
