Title: Ragnaros!
Name: Xavier Garcia
Country: United States
Software: Hand Painted, Photoshop
Hey, in my attempt to do something for the new Blizzard fan art contest I came up with this. Done in about 11 hours, 6 of which were spent coloring (gouache and watercolors)
Im pretty happy with it, but you know, any feedback helps :)

Wow, you're amazing with those colors... and the action is superb. They better give you something for this!
this looks really nice. the hand painting really shines through, it looks so different after seeing so much cg these days.
crit: the shot is a little tight, it feels like you drew it to big for the shot. the characters in the foreground get cut off a little to much. possibly by not having the smaller of the two characters in the frame there would be more space and the composition might be stronger.
still, looks really nice and still does well the way it is.

That's really tight, one of the better World of Warcraft pieces I've seen yet! :buttrock:
The linework is very expressive and the colors are great! I love the perspective as well.
Best of luck, I hope you win!

Looks good. Reminds me of Michael Kaluta's watercoloring style.

twoheaded >>> thanks! its mostly watered down gouache though, very little watercolors themselves
Alexandria >>> thanks! lets hope for the best :)
rI-n >>> yeah thats true and it might have worked but I wonder if Ragnaros would have looked as big in that case?
Knilblink >>> thanks for the props!
Pinoy McGee >>> thats a damn nice compliment, thank you so much!
