Hello all I was wondering if there are any members here at cgtalk who have gone or currently attending cal arts. My current status is a freelance artist and i was thinking of submitting my portfolio to cal arts to further my education and skill as and artist.
I was hoping to get some insight on items like tuition. Which is a main concern for me we all know how freelancing can be so if anyone wants to share how they paid for there education at cal arts . I know they have student aid but is that enough. If you take out a loan i am thinking they will be looking for a monthly payment.
I heard that the artist is excepted based on your portfolio and they only choose so many students. Anyone want to share tips on what they submitted or if you were not accepted and had to re-submit.
At what age did any of the artist here began to attend cal arts.
