Now...I know that my question Can appear stupid...
I need to make a short film, and I need a particular light...
If u seen films like Gattaca, or The Mexican, or other in that style...u Can observ that images aren't only "yellow tendent"...they are golden, they seems like gold!
It never look like a postproduction....It look like it have a yellow sun...and it's so in exterior scene too...

Now, If we never remember all the money that are spent in this production, that they have a panavision and I have a panasonic 100...
What I can make for obtain this impact? What is the secret...
If u have a suggestion in filming technique too, gimme'free...
I hope a lot answer me...
Thanks...

A simple yellow filter directly when filming? I'm sure you can find one that can be attached to your camera. Just make sure to pick the right wavelength.

I don't see why you can get a similar effect with digital. Have you tried adding an adjustment layer to the top of your composition and then using any of the effect > adjust filters?

in fact - Redgiantsoftware has a plug for AE and Premiere that's called magic bullet movie looks. Only color filters, so that you get the look of matrix, shaving ryans private, and a whole bunch more...warning - it takes a while to render each frame though :( It's good, and you may want to play around with the blendings aswell!!!

I'd suggest not to use the 'shaving ryans private' preset... lol

Ok, buddies! Now I LOVE Magic Bullet! Just I have a question...I'm not an expert in AE...
Is there a way where I Can obtain the same result with the standard effects and filters of AE?
I must to say that a normal image in Magic Bullet became fantastic... Just I want to know if I Can control post production without plugins...
Thanks all again...

Yes you can achieve pretty much the same results, but it requires a bit more time and effort... not to mention multiple layers and blending modes and plenty of tweaking. So Magic Bullet is nice because it is much more instant, but ultimately you can achieve similar results with the defualt tools. Combustion, shake etc... apparently have nicer colour adjustment tools than AFX, which I'd say is probably true because I find the adjustments fairly unimpressive in AFX. They work, but there is nothing special about them... or the interface.
