View Full Version : Creating grain that can dance!

I'm doing a lot of wire removal and my preferred method is taking a clean frame and tracking portions of it over the wire, the problem is that I need grain to "dance" on the still shot to blend into the live footage.

I've found the grain tool is DF lacking. I can get individual frames to look good, but when it comes to the actual moving shot the grain just doesn't dance as much as it needs to. I want a "random seed" slider!

Is there anyway to slap some dancing grain onto my still frames?

YO DAWG, THANX!

That was perfect, I got it to match flawlessly! I've been learning Fusion on the fly over the past 10 months and this is definitely a keeper, thanks again!
