This started as a doodle yesterday but since I haven't done any finished pieces in quite a while now, I thought to go all the way with this one. Ok, a girl with wings, not very original but... yeah... *whistles and looks at the sky*

The current "wings" are there just for testing size and colour. I haven't decided yet what kind of design I'm going to use for them. Right now the painting looks pretty monotonic because it's mostly red. Maybe I'll need to add more colour to it? Any ideas?

i think it looks great so far
i would consider making the dress look like it has more weight and flows nicer
overall it looks dark as well...keep on going!

If you are not sure about the colors, a fun thing to do is look at butterfly pictures and find a really beautifully colored one and use that as inspiration for your color scheme. You have a nice painting started keep going.

This is comming along nicely. I really like the soft rose colors and the mood it's created.
