SUB7NYC 08-26-2005, 03:21 PM This is a render of my office space, (basement office in nyc). I've modeled all the equipment and environment to scale and now I'm trying to get the lighting and textures as convincing/photorealistic as possible. I've included a screengrab of my scene and lighting setup, any suggestions? Many thanks for any comments and critiques.

I took some liberties to make it more organized, for exampe every desk doesn't have the same chair and wall mounted monitor. I'll post a photo on monaday to see if a real photo will help point out some lighting/texture details i might have overlooked. I would like to get a similar feeling as these guys (below). There lighitng setup is more base on direct sunlight, where i'm more overhead. I just wondering how i can take it to the next level.

the lighting is very good in the FIRST image. . its good coz i really felt its an underground office before reading what u wrote!! so i think its a success, however , some locations are fludded with bright white glair . . u can try fixing that . . . the far keyboard looks as if its flying coz of the white around it.
cant wait to see some textures ;)
