lasted thing i`m working on the character and the design are copyrighted to SquareEnix. it a model from Final Fantasy XI named Diablos

now i did some chenges to the low rez ingame model added a little bit more geometry. just small parts i do not like the modeling stage :(

so now to what i`m working on teh VFX for the char. i want it to have some kind of burned skin. not organic skin but kinda like dry woodish cracked burned material. it still needs some more work but here are some test to it.

here is a more complete shot

and the non textured model

here is the original one too

now the whole burning demon idea comes from making the wings of fire.

here is an early test of the particle fire. i need to do some more work on the sprites

also here is a thread (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=270456) about the use of copyrighted "fan art" material i`m still not sure if i can use please come by and give your opinion about it.

and now about the shader and firefx all C&C are wellcome

That fire is cool. I haven't seen the FFXI version of him, so I can't comment on the design. He sure looks different from Diablos in FFVIII though...
