CS2 Batch HELP PLEASE...

Were you recording an action and forgot to stop recording ?

It might be that your in 16bit (though I doubt it). I noticed CS's batch and droplet tools behave a bit weird....

I didn't even get to select an action...the warning happened everytime I select the batch command...

however, this doesn't happen with the batch rename :shrug:

I've tried to re-install the program but it still doesn't work

you need to have an action already defined before you go to the next stage of 'batch processing' . first, get your action set up just how you like, keep your action palette open and the action highlighted, adn then go to bacth.
