Title: Found At Last
Name: Chris Young
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Maya, Painter, Photoshop
did this piece for expose3, used a 3d render for the suit ( to get the reflections )and painted the rest. probably would have been fine to paint the whole thing as you dont really see the reflections too clearly. my only worry now is that the background is too monochrome green and saturated? I wanted it very lush and bright, but maybe is too much?

great piece! love the skin and metal texture, especially the contrast between them. the backround indeed could use a second color. the flowers in the foreground are just amazing.

Cool image! Love the detail to the flowers and also the shine on the metal. Maybe a few of your lovely flowers could go into the background as well and that may break up some of the green as well as brighten that area.

Wow I love this image, the color and light (reflections) looks great. I really like the flowers and character.
Maybe you can add another color in the backgroud, anyway all are excellent.

wow... the colors and the atmosphere looks great, and the metal is amazing, but I think that you need more detail and ligths and shadows in the background....

Hi Chris,
very beautiful image. I wouldnīt be to concerned about the background. It fits very well to the scene in my opinion. Somehow the look reminds me of Enki Bilal. I donīt know why maybe because of the way the face of your character is painted and the technical devices. Good work.
