I'm trying to make something so at least I can say I did something this summer. Too bad the creative juices haven't flowed until the last few nights.

Not sure what i'm gonna do with the background yet, but probably something subtle. I'm just trying to experiment with the figure and color.It's cropped here, btw, since i haven't done anything to the background yet, the figure is offset to the top right of the canvas in the original.

Other than that, please, please, please, tear into this thing and help me improve it.

It's hard to make a critique on this since it is pretty undeveloped and impressionistic. I like the colors. I'm not sure what style you are going with so I will wait and see where you go with it.

Thanks for the reply, I just wanted to get some opinions on it early on, but i can understand the difficulty.

I'm not really sure what i'm aiming for, i'm just gonna work on it till i think it's done. However, i think I'm going to start over again. I'm not happy with the composition, it just seems like its gonna end up a little too 2d to me. I'll have something reworked and up tonight.
