I just learnt that "hiding sub-object level elements, like polys, vertices, edges, etc, is exclusive to Editable Mesh. And right now I'm working on an Editable Poly :(
Does someone know a practical tip to hide polys while editing others, under Editable Poly?

Thanks in advance,

You can hide polys in Edit poly and it should be in you sub object poly level rollout near the bottom. In addition in your quad menu top left you should see hide unselected(poly), which does what it says.

Hope this helps!

Wouldn't it be nice if there were "loop" & "hide" in the same type of subobj poly modeling?
At the moment I am removing edges (reason why I needed "loop") from a model to reduce its poly counts, but it would be nice to be able to hide polys to concentrate on one area at the time.
Oh well! I guess I'll have to do without "hide" :(

Btw, I am in r6 now ;)
