Looks nice, although thoses "trees" doesn't look much like trees at first glance.
The mood seems to be kind of lugubre...
How high is the polycount?

10,000 polys in total for entire scene.
higher resolution version can be found here.

fly thru a bit jerky did it in a rush i may fix it but i doubt any one is interested enough. this stuff hardly ever gets interest
thank you very much for looking Baal :D. ill have to look up what lugubre means. if it means solemn then that was the intention. i got inspirationfrom a twisted tree that i saw once. i always wanted to make something similar. and got the oppertunity to do it. maybe next time ill do a better job of it.
this was made for a freinds realtime shadowing demonstration. when i get the final version of that I will post a link so every one can have a spin round the scene

Hi there, I dont know much about low polygon stuff for games. What I see looks pretty nice, but It seems to me that if the grass were less of a bevel and more vertical at the edges it would be more effecitive, maybe even beveling it slightly outwoard as grass expands as it rises.
just my twoo cents.

im not so sure about over hanging grass. but I will keep it in mind for next time.
the gargoyle is ~2,000 polygons. so he is a bit heavy. but i wanted detail in the face.
thank you for veiwing. and takeing the time to share your comments.

a post went up on cgchat (http://www.cgchat.com/board/forumdisplay.php?forumid=58) about a realtime shadowing program and i said i would help build a scene that would compliment the demo. if you want to contact the programer give me an email and ill shoot you his email address.
I use 3dstudio max to make this.
thanks forthe interest.
