View Full Version : VRML Transparency issue? PLease vrml users check here!

I'm having an issue thats really annoying me...I'm exporting some trees (crucifix style) to vrml v1 using polytrans...but I'm getting odd results with the trees behind apperaing through the trees in front in our vrml viewer. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and more importantly how it can be solved??!! I have read it might have something to do with z-buffer - but that means nothing to me...if anyone has experience with this...please do help out.

The texture is a lambert with a png with alpha in both the diffuse (colour) and transparency slots. The vrml file has transparency set to 0.1

If you send me the VRML file for the trees, and the texture, I'll take a look at it today.
