hi guys,

I am doing a film titles project, for which i need help. I have a 3 minutes long shot of a house shot by a camera mounted on a moving vehicle, where the vehicle is circling the house.
The titles appear in the screen from the right and go out from the left. Since it is shot from a camera moving on a not so very smooth road, it has lots of shakes and ups and downs.

Now what i want to do here is give a similar kind of shakes and jitters to my titles as well.
Is that possible in After effects thru motion tracking ??
Please advice
Any online tutorials available for it, i am a newbie as far as motion tracking is concerned !!!

Thanks in advance

The AE has a system of tracker that it counts on stabilization resources

Stabilize the footage, add your title, precompose the whole stuff and add the jitters afterwards to the composition.
Just adding the jitter to nthe title will make it look asynchron(if this is your desiered FX, well then go for it)

Hello

You may want to take a look at this script. It will pretty much do what you need.
It seems hard to understand at first, but it does the contrary of what you need (stabilizes a shot to allow you to comp something on it) and then de-stabilizes the whole thing so your composited object inherits the jitter from the shaky footage.
